NORTENOS Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Alarico Huertas, Emmanuel Carnavarez, Cleandro Yenez and Cristoforo Mancuso were four friends since they were children. The four of them are neighbors as they live in a town called Merida. Huertas, Carnavarez, Yenez and Mancuso are young Mexicans who, when they turned 19, decided to go to Los Santos, a city in America that offers immigrant opportunities to earn a better life in many ways. As long as they are friends, the problems of life always come and go. They come from middle-class families, so the family background scores their pragmatic ways of thinking and way of life. Whatever they will do to survive. During their youth, they committed many low-level crimes as a form of representation of their resistance to social injustice. The crime they committed was very simple, as a way to keep them alive. Starting from stealing, street fights,gambling and being a bouncer and buying and selling illegal goods By the age of 19, the four of them decided to move to Los Santos as an option for their lives. The four of them choose Los Santos as their destination city because of the culture and lifestyle that can be matched to them. Of course, their main reason is a good criminal life for them to survive. Los Santos provides plenty of access to survive by criminal means. There is no other choice, because they are brought up by a hard life . Arriving at Los Santos, they live their lives just like when in Merida, Mexico. Conducting criminal activities to survive. Located in Las Colinas, they began to erect a gang called Las Colinas Caer la Greña X4 which meant Los Colinas X4 to be good at something. X4 is a representation of their friendship that brought them so far. The idea came from a conversation between Huertas and Mancuso who felt that they would not be able to survive if only doing these four activities. They need more members to survive, because in Los Santos they have to compete with other bigger criminal groups. Las Colinas Caer la Greña X4 lives the same criminal life as gangs and other criminal groups. Starting from selling illegal goods, robbing and becoming a bouncer. They are a group of young people who inevitably have to do anything to survive in a cruel city called Los Santos.
