Salerno Crime Network

The Italian Mafia in America emerged in Los Santos' East Side, and Iddlewood. It also emerged in other areas of the East Coast of the United States and several other major metropolitan areas (such as Los Santos) during the late 19th century and early 20th Century following waves of Italian immigration, especially from Sicily. It has its roots in the Sicilian Mafia, but is a separate organization in the United States. Neapolitan, Calabrian, and other Italian criminal groups in America, as well as independent Italian-American criminals, eventually merged with the Sicilians to create the modern pan-Italian Mafia in North America. Today, the American Mafia cooperates in various criminal activities with the Sicilian Mafia and other Italian organized crime groups.
There have been at least 26 cities around the United States with Cosa Nostra families, with many more offshoots, splinter groups and associates in other cities. There are five main New York City Mafia families, known as the Five Families: the Gambino, Lucchese, Genovese, Bonanno and Colombo families. At its peak, the Mafia dominated organized crime in the U.S. While each crime family operates independently, nationwide coordination is provided by the Commission, which consists of the bosses of each of the strongest families.
2. Overview
Since their appearance in the 1800s, the Italian criminal societies known as the Mafia have infiltrated the social and economic fabric of Italy and now impact the world. They are some of the most notorious and widespread of all criminal societies.
We estimate the four groups have approximately 25,000 members total, with 250,000 affiliates worldwide. There are more than 3,000 members and affiliates in the U.S., scattered mostly throughout the major cities in the Northeast, the Midwest, California, and the South. Their largest presence centers around New York, southern New Jersey, and Philadelphia.
Their criminal activities are international with members and affiliates in Canada, South America, Australia, and parts of Europe. They are also known to collaborate with other international organized crime groups from all over the world, especially in drug trafficking.
The major threats to American society posed by these groups are drug trafficking and money laundering. They have been involved in heroin trafficking for decades. Two major investigations that targeted Italian organized crime drug trafficking in the 1980s are known as the 'Fishy Connection'
A Long while
Sicilians weren’t concerned if the group profited from its actions because it came at the expense of the oppressive authorities. These secret societies eventually grew into the Mafia.
Since the 1900s, thousands of Italian organized crime figures—mostly Sicilian Mafiosi—have come illegally to this country. Many who fled here in the early 1920s helped establish what is known today as La Cosa Nostra or the American Mafia.
2. Major arrest.
Kenny 'Meat Head' Salerno stood in front of a judge at the San Andreas Citadel
today in order to give evidence against his fellow mobsters.
Kenny i just one of a number of mobsters who have recently turned on their fellow criminals in exchange for lenient sentencing. While some applaud the efforts of the FBI, others think that the convictions are futile. Ex-Secretary of Security Enforcement,
(Linny Adams - Reporter)
James Daylan, had this to say, 'There's always going to be organized crime The mafia in San Andreas is being weakened, but it's just opening up room for new gangsters to coming to town. The Italian-based mobsters are trying to take control of Los Santos rackets and gangsters are coming from Eastern Europe, These guys are even worse than the likes of Kenny Meat Head. 'There's a lot of money in Los Santos and officials willing to be bought off, so there'll always be crooks here trying to take advantage of the situation'
The Salerno, originally from the Florence, the ‘toe’ of Italy, they have spread their tentacles into the north of San Andreas and into neighbouring countries forming links with the Colombian cartels and the IRA among others. They supply an estimated 80 per cent of Europe's cocaine.
Details of the recorded meeting were revealed on Tuesday by San Andreas police who released part of the footage.
In the quasi-religious ceremony, which also borrows from freemasonry traditions, those present organised their hierarchy and allotted roles to each other.
Sitting round a table with heads bowed, the group ‘baptised’ their surroundings. Then the footage shows the boss asking them to agree 'a sacred bond'. (SMIC case)
The Salerno Crime Network is one of the mafias that dominate organized crime activities in New York City as part of the Mafia (or Cosa Nostra).Their rivalry, The Mexican Mafia is seized by unmatched in terms of power.
Back years, TSCN took advantage of lax due diligence by banks during the housing spike with a wave of mortgage frauds. Over twenty deaths in a week, Jamie Blunt explains that the motive of the massacre was the 'result' of those who failed to return the debts.
The Salerno Crime Network was originally founded by Nico Salerno. Nico 'Nick' Salerno found dead in his hideout, The investigator conclused that this murder was linked to The Mexican Mafia, TSCN's main rival.
They're originally in control of the Fellaini Truckers Depot in county side.
Although the leadership of the Nico Salerno seemed to have been in limbo after the death of himself in 2005, they appear to be the most organized family and remain powerful. While many mobsters from across the country have testified against their crime families since the 1990's.
The Salerno Crime Network eventually sized by Kenny 'Meat Head' Salerno, the-first-son of Nico Salerno, They started operating in Vinewood during 2009 untill Kenny's arrested in 2010 for racketeering.
They receiving tribute payments from Italian/American laborers and dockworkers, they eventually began moving in on Jameno fruit loading operations intimidating the Jamenos  with threats of violence.
The murder of Nico Salerno created a huge backlash from the city and, although Raul 'Santana 'Saldivar and several members of the Mexican Mafia were arrested, they were eventually tried and acquitted in 2013.The Nico Salerno lynchings led to the American Mafia adopting a hard and fast rule that policemen and other law enforcement officials were not to be harmed. Investigations began two days later, police breached into Nico's hideout and discovered a piece of parchment paper sticky-tape on his working table.
Kenny Salerno was able to escape from the chase lynchings and, upon returning back to the streets after spending three years in the custody, he eventually resumed his position as head of the The Salerno Crime Family, eventually forcing the declining The Mexican Mafia out of their territory by the end of the 2013.

Server knowledge is essential. Recognize that this is 2014 (Modern era), know your capabilities but also your boundaries and act as if you would in a real life situation of being a mafia.
Be active in game and on the forums.
Post screenshots of your role-play regularly in the IC panel.
It's not easy swallowing your pride, regardless you are recommended to NOT argue with admins whatso ever.
You are not allowed to post screenshots without my approval (Fermosa)
Concerning language, it is likely that all tribe members who stick around for a few years ICly will have learnt to speak English in order to communicate, and a deal of new associates as well. Do not speak foreign language for things that we don't understand definitely would not have said, that is what San Andreas stands for. Primarily, we should communicate in English within the family, not Italian.
Be aware that we are a very close crime group/network. If you find yourself to be killed and shit there might be a strong reason behind it, we are not unreasonable; you will not be killed unless you prove to be an obstacle. This isn't a faction where we will be DMing anyone that comes pass the limit; unless you approach our standards directly we won't be very interested in you, as we will let you to get approach by your own way.
If you can't create your own roleplay and develop your character then don't bother joining, I can honestly tell you that we are selective.
