They brought the guerilla warfare of Central America to the streets of the US and maybe even your home town. MS-13 has the potential presence in just about every community in this country. They call themselves Mara Salvatrucha and they are the most violent gang this world has even seen. "There's nobody that survives an MS-13 attack, you know? If they intend to kill you, you're going to die." Five hundred thousand strong, their reach extends across much of the United States. The gang's violence is rooted half a world away and begins nearly three decades earlier, during a civil war in the Central American country of El Salvador. In the nineteen eighties, refugees and soldiers of that bloody conflict fled to America. The already crowded Latino neighbourhoods in cities like Los Santos shun the newcomers. The primary street gangs robbed, extorted and terrorized the new immigrants. To survive, the Salvadorans formed their own game. One that's far more violent than any rival's. The group was later on listed as a Transnational Criminal Organization by the US Treasury Department in October 2012. This faction provides our community with the most realistic portrayal of the transnational criminal organization Mara Salvatrucha. We're a collaboration of multiple gang affiliated cliques — each one being unique on its own. In order to progress further into our hierarchy, you'll need to join one of them. If you wish to role-play as a civilian who lives in one of our many districts (for example, Ganton), you're free to do so. In-game and forum invites can be earned by anyone, not just gang affiliates — from hobos to prostitutes, local drug dealers or just your average neighbours. Follow all in-game and forum rules. All of your violations will be noted down and taken into account within your stay in the faction. If you want to join us, Use Salvadoran, Puerto Rican, Cuban, or other Central American character Country. It's very possible for join.
