Arabic organized crime groups are active in the Middle-East itself, as well as central Europe and America. Al-Bakr family is organized crime syndicates generally are active globaly due to the mass Arab diaspora. Crime and corruption has existed and occured for centuries in the middle east, allthough global recognition did not happen until the late 1970s.
