machismo Posted January 16, 2022 Author Posted January 16, 2022 OOC Section The Santino - DeMarco West Coast Mafia is an illegal faction roleplaying as a smaller cell of Italian American organized crime existing in New York and other parts of Eastern United States. We highly seek our quality to be realistic and therefore only allow realistic development from the players and our faction’s schemes. We will not accept subpar roleplaying and outdated scenery of the LCN roleplay (settings and cultures from the 1900s, glorify and implement unrealistic aspects from the Mafia games, or act as the streets are like the Wild West with guns blazing and looting) The Santino - DeMarco West Coast Mafia is subject to closed invitations, meaning to say, we handpick players that can roleplay in our faction. The reason for us to apply this strictness is to allow our starting members and the faction itself to focus on their early developments of schemes and stories. Key Principles We establish our faction based on the premise; "Let your character determine and build the faction. It does not work otherwise." This faction, expects its players focus on their character, and how they will develop it. Everybody has their own freedom in creating every traits, or combination of traits as long as it not against the common sense and realistic aspects of a La Cosa Nostra roleplay. Lore (Important notice for all Families & Gangs or non-faction players alike) 1. We are not called The Santino - DeMarco West Coast Mafia in regards to IC (In-Character) information. At the release of this faction's thread, simply saying that we are a small-to-medium size crew or group of made men coming from different cities and WE DO NOT INTEND on publicizing / promoting our "arrival" in Los Santos, especially our group's collegial name. If you haven't encountered us IC and have obtained IC information regarding our looks or background, AVOID using the word "Mafia", "Mobsters", "Italians" and other lots of ridiculous things that incites metagaming. 2. Please do not approach us in our territories or turfs unless you have IC information / OOC agreement with us prior to the roleplay. This is to avoid subpar developments such as a gang of African American teenagers or hooligans coming up to our established locations and just trying to make a mess / IC conflict with no good escalation. 3. Contrary to the culture that exists, this faction DESPISES the offensive use of unnecessary violence, gun slinging, or perpetrate shootouts that clearly does not make sense in the reality of present-day Italian American organized crime. 4. More lore updates will be posted here and updated throughout the thread as the faction goes.
