At his sixteen age, Martin Saez looks at the world through the weary eyes of someone twice his age. Growing up on Monte Vista Avenue, the cracked pavement and faded cement floor of his neighborhood provided a harsh education that no textbook could match. To his classmates at school, he was a ghost in an oversized hoodie, a quiet fixture by the gym bleachers where handshakes lasted a second too long and crumpled bills changed pockets with practiced ease. Martin didn’t see himself as a villain; he saw a provider. With his father gone and his mother working double shifts at the laundry, the meager profits from his small-time hustle were the only thing keeping the lights flickering in their cramped apartment.

 

The cycle ground to a halt the night the flashing blues and reds illuminated the graffiti-stained brick of an alleyway few blocks from home. Martin service in juvenile detention was a blur of fluorescent lights, clanging sounds of heavy steel doors, and the suffocating weight of his own remorse. Serving his verdict felt less like a punishment and more like a forced pause in a song that been playing too fast. While the other boys boasting about their street credits, Martin spent his nights staring at the ceiling, thinking about his mother’s face in the courtroom. The bravado of Monte Vista had vanished, replaced by the cold realization that the "easy money" had cost him the only thing he actually owned: his freedom. Now back on the outside, the circumstance of Monte Vista Avenue feels different—heavier with the scent of cannabidiol and alcohol. Martin walks the familiar cracked sidewalks, but his hands stay deep in his pockets, empty of the plastic baggies that once defined his worth. His old associates and one of his sidekick Elliot Pineda, still linger on the corners, their whistles a siren song back to the life that nearly swallowed him whole, but he keeps his head down.

He knows the neighborhood doesn’t change, despite of that yet he still decided to play the same role as he used to, influenced by Elliot's boasted about his involvement with notorious set of White Fence he'd like to be in the same league with his old-associate. He decided to kicks his legs late-night where White Fence Lokotes reside and met one of their acting-captain Raul "Souljah" Aguila had a small converse led to Martin brags his potential //Hit ups// showed Raul what he got, but he still a kid, just like any other kids they have to go to school every morning so Raul told him to go back home, in case he won't miss the school bus, he got hyped up that Big Lokotes approved his potential he dragged his experience into his sleep ended up dreaming about gang-bangin with those White Fence bros.
