Origin: Guatemala
Story:
  Damian Benicio was born in the 12th of July 1998. Born to a family living in poverty in the slums of Guatemala City, a place where the rule of the day is "Survival of the Fittest", a harsh and cruel enviroment laced with crime and authoritarian abuse by criminals and corrupt government officers alike.

  The Slums. An incessant pit of decadence that seeks to corrupt everyone into a life of crime to make ends meet. For most of his early life, Damian only lived with his mother as his sole parental figure as a result of his dad being arrested for being a drug mule, most of the time the only job in the slums that could come close to making ends meet. His mother wasn't far better, a drug addict reliant on the constant use of cocaine and opiates, tied down to a cycle of substance abuse and violent withdrawals that eventually led to her death by overdose when Damian was a young boy. 

  Left without a parental figure for most of his teenage life, he like most young children in the slums eventually became affiliated with a youth street gang, often the only way of surviving the turmoil and violence of the slums, strength in numbers is the rule of the day after all. As a gang member, he had a taste of the gang-life: drug running, extortion, gang violence, turf wars, although this wasn't to last.

  By the age of 20, he had already made enemies with more rival gangs than he could handle. Slowly, he started losing grip on the influence and power that he had over his own gang, eventually leading to him being alienated and hunted down by everyone in The Slums. Left with nowhere else to go, he was forced to undertake the journey north, towards Mexico and then across the Rio Grande into the United States, the land of dreams. 

  With all he had left, he threw away his old life and started his journey towards America with the help of an associate who was in league with a human trafficking ring that deals in smuggling immigrants across the Mexican Desert. Through persistence and sheer will, he managed to survive the trip, and successfully made the illegal crossing into the United States after 2 years, eventually being enrolled into an immigrant protection program that granted him citizenship in the country.
