            It was a boiling hot day, and I could feel the breeze coming through a gap in the window as I left Altis airport on route to Tanoa. I was drinking a cool bottle of lemonade, fresh from the aircraft's fridge. I looked out the window to see the lovely turquoise sky surrounded by a number of perfectly shaped clouds, floating through the air. I kicked my feet up and relaxed on the 8 hour journey and thought about all the memories I had back in Altis. The people, the gangs and even the house that I lived in. It was so convenient being next to the drug dealer so I could store them there before any thieves were able to steal them. A few minutes later I closed my eyes, and soon, I fell fast asleep.

 

I heard a loud bang. I woke up in shock to see all the lights turned off and everyone panicking. I moved my head to the right and out the window I saw a sight that still scars me to this day. The engine had caught on fire and we were going down, faster and faster, losing altitude rapidly as everyone tried to jump out. Racing for the exit, I ripped a bag containing my parachute from under my feet and sprinted towards the emergency door, where 3 or 4 people were queuing to jump out to safety. I pushed them out of the way and leaped for my life, only to find out that the parachute was ripped. I plummeted down into the deep blue sea.

 

Gaining my strength back, I floated to the top of the ocean, gasping for breath as the waves hit me like boulders. The next thing I knew, I saw many other survivors swimming towards the shore, surely I'll make it. After 10 minutes of doggy-paddling, my legs and arms were knackered. I couldn't move and everything in my body felt stiff, but I managed to crawl onto the golden sand, I looked at my watch, and it was 11:49 PM. I needed to find shelter.
 

I saw a fence in the distance and started walking towards it. As I got closer I saw illuminated lights scattered in parallel lines along a runway, I finally figured it was an airport. I climbed over the fence, professionally avoiding the barbed wire un-carefully attached on the top. I found a security guard and told him all about my journey here. He printed me a Tanoan visa and passport, carefully applying the watermark to it. He then let me go, this is where my new life begins...
