A daughter of SANews ex-worker named Donald Mauls, he was married to Villanueva Avila and hide everything about their marriage life. The only person who knew about this is only Donald's best friend, Bernice Hall. Villanueva dies after the labor of Summer. Strangely, a large cult community tries to kidnap and banish Summer from Donald's life. Donald who had pour all his love to his only daughter would never let it happen. He gives all his trust to Bernice to raise and keep Summer in secret –Bernice gives his last name to Summer then. Donald’s knew that Bernice would keep Summer with a good life and full of love –Bernice’s daughter died when she was only 2 years old and got divorced by his wife. Summer grew up with courageous, she's learned to survive in Los Santos without knowing her biological parents or even her parent's fortune. The only thing she knew that Bernice was the only family she had. As a teenager, she develops her skills to earn some money for her daily necessities, she helps Bernice in his job as delivery truck's driver in every holiday and does many part-time jobs for good money. Bernice treats Summer like his own daughter and gives all of his savings as tuition for Summer to complete her study in San Fiero. Bernice was passed away when Summer is only an 18th years old, he tells the truth about who she is before he is gone forever. It's scattered her heart, and throw her into a deep sadness. This sorrow makes Summer grew as a strong personality. Unlike other girls who busy with their beauties and fancy life, she's always focused to survive and break the riddle of her past. Yet she had no idea about her parents. All she knew is only names and vivid memories of Bernice Hall.
