DwiehTF.pngThe Rollin 40s Crips (R40s) also known as the Rollin 40s Neighborhood Crips (R40NHC) Rollin Forties or Glove Gang, are predominant as an African-American street gang located on the West Side of South Los Santos. The Rollin 40s were getting large and spreading out around Jefferson Avenue to Glen Park, and are part of the Rollin O’s Crips and falls under the Neighborhood Crips (Rollin 40s Neighborhood Crips). The Darc Side are formed to hold down around Jefferson Avenue and the Parc Side are the predominant of Glen Park, this both of cliques have been around for a long time, around 1970s.

Over time, the Parcside identity became linked with members that hold the section from specific residential blocks and housing zones, forming a tighter and began social structure compared to broader Rollin 40s affiliations. Law enforcement gives a more attention toward the Rollin 40s is bigger significantly during the late 1990s, as the broader South Los Santos Crip and became wider into multiple sub-identities and neighborhood sets. In Old Days, gangbanging in the Westside was established far away before Rollin O's fell under the Neighborhood Crips in the year 1986. The area is packed full of Rollin O's were they was stand steady by themselves back then when they aren't really intented with their own card. These street gangs have intricate alliances and feuds which have lasted from their initial emergence and their main factor their fell off. After almost 4 year, Rollin 40’s affiliates decided to reestablish the set and alligned with the Neighborhood Crips, sending O.G along with the ex higher rank  Baby OG Davone “TipToe” William to follow the legacy of Rollin 40s and rebuild what was left of Rollin 40s high crime rate and infamous gang activity. The O.Gs brought many changes with them who were under their wing during their time in Vernon and as the time changed they made four-sides of the Grimiest Line that created many sub-cliques. Gang tries to recruit as many young people as possible to increase their dominance across the town.

RACE WAR w/ FLORENCIA —

Just like every other Rollin 40s Crips clique, the Rollin 40s Crips have nothing but hate for Florencia 13 (F13). It's a beef that no Parc Side and Darc Side set is exempt from. This rivalry started nearly a decade ago when the Darc Side robbed a F13 drug connect of a large quantity of dope. The tale of how a black street gang ripped off a Latino rival has taken on mythic proportions ever since. But to this day police are uncertain if these events truthfully took place. There's just so many different variations of the story. Who knows what really happened? But the effects are tremendous. Over the years, the two rival gangs have battled over control of the drug trade going through Southern Los Santos. The feud has escalated into what many residents call a race war. It used to be that innocent bystanders were not targeted, said Chris Le Grande, pastor of Great Hope Fellowship in Faith, one of Jefferson's largest black churches. Now it's deliberate. I'm deliberately shooting you because of your color. There's even one story that a Florencia member hung a stuffed monkey from their porch. That should give you a broad answer.

On Tuesday 2007, the U.S. attorney's office announced a sweeping indictment against more than 60 members of Florencia 13, accusing the Latino gang of waging a violent campaign to drive out African American rivals. Once primarily black, the working class community of 60,000 today is mostly Latino. But some say that's only part of the truth. The war has two sides, said Robert Ramirez, a Florencia 13 gang member. "I'm not going to say we're angels, but it's 50-50," he said, as fellow gang members sprayed walls with Florencia graffiti. " 'Any black, shoot on sight?' -- it's not true. Nobody likes a racist person." The neighborhood saw 41 homicides in 2005, surpassing the homicide rate in some of the nation's most dangerous big cities, authorities said. About half of those killed had no gang affiliation. Homicides dropped to 19 last year after a major law enforcement crackdown that led to 230 felony arrests and the seizure of 130 weapons. But the level of violence remains high.

EJgL8la.jpegAuthorities attribute the neighborhood's gang troubles in large part to the huge demographic shift that occurred in this economically depressed community over the last 20 years, tipping the balance of power from black to Latino and turning it into a tinderbox of racial tensions. That kind of demographic shift has occurred in many parts of Southern San Andreas, but Jefferson-Willowfield is one of the places where it has turned violent. The violence threatens an economic revival that has begun to revitalize the neighborhood.

MODERN DAY POLITICS
In past over this decade, Rollin 40s (R40s) have remained active throughout their established territories and cliques, with visible signs of presence including graffiti markings, block tagging, and territorial identifiers spread across key along transit streets that frequently can be found on the each of West Side of Los Santos. Members are commonly seen gathering in known neighborhood spots including apartment complexes were social activity blends with street operations. Furthermore, narcotics distribution continues to be a secondary income due to pressed and checked by the authorities, based from www.lsnews.com Street-level dealing operations are decreased in 5% based on the census data. Nowadays, most of them primarily having a prior on creative labelling music. Incase as their side hustle while avoiding constant law enforcement attention. These activities have drawn continued focus from gang enforcement and narcotics units working the East Los Santos districts as some of the drug’s trafficking aren’t detectable. Violence remains a factor in maintaining status and control. Conflicts whether internal disputes or rival gang tensions are frequently handled through intimidation or direct retaliation.

If you have the desire to join Rollin 40s Crips / Glove Gang, then you must acknowledge some information before you do so. First of all remember that all recruitment is done through In Character events, there are no exceptions on this rule. You must show your dedication that you really wanna become a member and get through higher ranks in the faction. When you approach the faction and you desire to join, I advise you to start your way up with a teenage character, since it would be more realistic for you and for the whole factions atmosphere, that you start out as a youngster. The background on your character is very important - where you come from, your important life events in the past and in the present that affect your character / have affected your character / will affect your character. Everything you do, must be thought out with intelligent behavior, cause all I'm asking for you to do, is quality roleplay. You must build up your character realisticly and make sure that you also maintain a respectful reputation for yourself and for your faction through Out Of Character channels. Your OOC behaviour may also reflect on your chances of getting into the faction, I don't give alot of people second chances.

The faction itself relays on portraying a real life crip street gang, therefore our main concept of the faction is all about the low-income area that we're from. You must roleplay your character and it's background to the fullest extent to the point where you're grubbing together as much money as possible through the hard struggle of being a teenage gang member. It is also expected for potential members to gather enough background information and knowledge on the Rollin 40s Crips in order to be accepted into the group. Do not be afraid to ask how to approach us, feel free to send @Megalovania109 a private message on the forums for any inquiries - We will gladly help anyone in need.
