zhian Posted May 5 Posted May 5 Scott Dickens In 1986, a boy named Scott Dickens was born. He was born into a simple family, the Dickens Family. His father served the country as a US Navy officer and his mother owned a bakery business called Dickens's Bakery. Scott has always helped his mother at Dickens's Bakery since he was twelve years old. His father left a message to always help his mother and take care of her because he rarely came home because of his duties in the US Navy. His father and mother always taught Scott to be a gentle, humble, and kind boy with the principle of Never Hurt Women. One day, his father returned home after serving in the US Navy, he was given three weeks off. At that time, Scott was fifteen, Scott had a hobby of dirtbike racing. His father and mother supported Scott's hobby so that he could develop further in his field. Scott often participated in dirt bike races, as time went by there were wins and losses in Scott's races. His father motivated Scott not to give up and be tough when he lost, Scott considered his father his idol. So he also had a dream of becoming a US Army. His mother was a little doubtful about Scott's dream, she was afraid of suffering the same fate as Scott’s grandfather who died while on duty, his mother tried to convince Scott of his dream and Scott remained steadfast in his dream of becoming a US Army. One day, Scott wanted to learn to shoot, his father was happy to teach Scott how to shoot properly, he learned to shoot using a small gun, namely Glock. As the days went by, Scott became more enthusiastic about learning to shoot, and he became more and more adept at target shooting. One day, his father said, "If you can shoot, use that ability for good, like protecting yourself and protecting the people you love from harm." Time goes fly, Scott was seventeen years old, he wanted to try to register for the US Army, seventeen years old must have a letter of permission from a parent or guardian, his mother had refused to sign the parental permission letter because she was still in doubt, she was afraid that Scott would suffer the same fate as his grandfather. But Scott convinced his mother by saying "I want to raise our family's status, Mom. I promise I will take care of myself". His mother was touched and finally he signed the parental permission letter. A few weeks later, Scott took his first test, namely the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery). He was declared to have passed the first test, he told his parents that he had passed the first test, at that time his father and mother were relieved because Scott had passed the first test. He also told his parents that he had made several friends in his battalion. A few weeks later, Scott successfully passed the BTC (Basic Combat Training) test and only had to pass the last test, namely the ACFT (Army Combat Fitness Test). Scott was very happy and he informed his parents again and asked for prayers that he would pass the final test. Scott prepared himself thoroughly for this final test, he hoped he could pass the final test and be able to serve the country. Approximately two months later, he passed the final test and was declared to have passed. Scott Dickens was just waiting for further information from his superiors regarding the time and location of his assignment. All those who passed were sent home and given a fairly long vacation. His parents were proud of Scott, and they always prayed for the best for him. Scott's struggles had not been in vain, he spent time with his parents before serving in the US Army. Several months later, Scott began his first assignment serving the country with several of his colleagues from the beginning of the first stage of the test with Scott, he was very happy when he did his first task, he also often told his parents what he did every day over the phone. His father retired, Dickens's Bakery still continues, his father helps his mother at Dickens's Bakery with other side jobs, and Scott Dickens is now in the US Army serving his country and bringing honor to the Dickens Family.
