Caravan Posted August 27, 2025 Posted August 27, 2025 98 EASTSIDE MAFIA CRIPS The 98 Eastside Mafia Crips, better known as 98ESMC or Gotti Gang, have carved out a name for themselves as one of the most respected and feared Mafia Crip sets in Los Santos. Based out of the east side near MacArthur Park in Willowfield, South Central. They’ve been a force since the 1970s and remain one of the most active gangs in the city today. Their biggest and longest running beef is with the Hoover Criminals, a war that has spilled into the eastern part of LS County and fueled a large chunk of the shootings and murders in that part of South LS. Politically, the Mafia Crips are their own card under the bigger Crip umbrella, but their alignments lean closer to the Neighborhood Crips (NHC) side of things. Almost every Mafia Crip set is locked in with the same enemies: Bloods, Hoovers, Gardena Crips, and Grape Street Watts Crips. The only odd one out is the 99 Mafia Crips, who flipped the script and claim Neighborhood Killer (NK) instead. GANG BACKGROUND The 80s crack epidemic era changed everything in Los Santos especially on the South Central. While the whole city was feeling it, ESMC jumped right into the wave and surfed it hard. They were deep in the drug game at that time, pushing weight and making money out of it. That money turned into reputation, cars, jewelry, clothes, and flashy living that made the gang look larger than life. For many kids growing up on the east side, where options were very limited and poverty hit harder than it did west of the 110 Freeway, the Mafia Crips stood out as the ones who “made it.” It wasn’t just about survival; it was about status and approval from that time society. Besides their long-running beef with the Hoover Criminals, The Mafia Crip had been on feud with 83 Gangster Crips for a mean time. There were no truces between both sets due all of the incidents and tragedies over the history but the Big Homie from Mafia Crip itself aka Nfant Gunz keep to maintained to keep it tranquil between both sides even though it always went sideways no matter what. It costs the Mafia Crip a lots such as the residents from the community got killed in the middle of night and robberies by several members of 83 Gangster Crip. Robbery & Murder wasn't the new things anymore especially for the peoples who lives or Born and Raised in the main heart of Mafia Crips. The hood is very susceptible because nobody are reliable to holding the position that can hold down the peace between both sides and maintaining and curating the homies and keep it safe to protect the community as well. One time, Mafia Crips succeed to flailing a retaliate towards the 83 Gangster Crips and it went flawless that makes hood get his tranquility for a past 2 years. PRESENT TIME Many things has shifted and changed in the present. The flashy cocaine money of the 1980s isn’t there anymore, but younger ESMC members found their new to make money. Some are into weed, pills, or fraud, while the others keep chasing rap as a way out. A handful of upcoming rappers and trappers from the set have managed to gain recognition, putting “98” into lyrics, videos, and hashtags, keeping the name alive in modern culture just like the crack era once did. Police attention hasn’t let up either. Gang enforcement and constant raids hit the neighborhood hard, especially after high-profile shootings tied to 98ESMC. Still, the cycle continues. For every indictment or arrest, there’s a younger face stepping into the spotlight, trying to prove themselves in the hood. The police can’t erase the name “Mafia” because it isn’t just tied to individuals, it’s tied to the neighborhood itself within a deep history and culture. What makes the Eastside Mafias stand out is that they’re still relevant. In LS, a lot of old gangs and sets get forgotten, shadowed by bigger names and all the newer trends. But ESMC somehow still managed to hold onto its culture, legacy and presence. The story of 98 Main Street Mafia Crips today is the story of continuity. From the flashy crack money in the 80s to the Instagram and social media era in the 2020s, the hood found ways to adapt without losing its cultre and identity. To outsiders, it’s just another gang name. But to the youngins on 98th, it’s family, history, and reputation all rolled into one, something they’re born into, something they ride for, and something they risk everything to protect. TOP KID MAFIA "THE MOST CONTROVERSIAL RECORD LABEL IN LOS SANTOS" Top Kid Mafia is a record label owned by Dameon Flemming, better known as MACC 3K. It was founded by an arrested 98 Eastside Mafia Crip named Jahmiah Moore before its ownership passed to the younger generations of the 98 Eastside Mafia Crips. Dameon Flemming announced that he would acquire the rights to Death Row Records right on his release day, December 1st, 2024. MOB TIES // CONNECTION WITH THE NOTORIOUS BMF Rumour has it that the Eastside Mafia Crips have a deep and complicated connection with the notorious black organization known as Ballin Money Family or Black Mafia Family across the states. According to an anonymous post in the biggest organized crime forum on the internet, one of the ESMC members, Keith “Tiny Capone” Jahkobe, is constantly sealing a deal with a Las Venturas BMF member, Quashawn Wilmington. With their handshake documented in a photo and posted across the internet, the BMF is believed to be the main plug for the Eastside Mafia Crips for various contraband, including narcotics and firearms. credits. @ivannandisatrio@TOPTIERQUALIFIED@Caravan (LORE) @RoyEff @Augustus (MEDIA) @GilangDramasta (MODDING) r/caliconnection r/calibanging 7 1
Caravan Posted August 27, 2025 Author Posted August 27, 2025 The way we operate is inspired by the real life gang (Main Street Mafia Crips), but we took the liberty to invent and develop our own lore, traditions, way of running things and ranks via In-Game events. Character development and realistic roleplay are of utmost crucial. If you're a sociopathic crook who only deals guns & drugs, you're not needed. It is very crucial that our showcased roleplay covers aspects of a normal living being who has his own vices, ups & downs and whatsoever. we also do not tolerate subpar and unrealistic shootout and robbery. we take every shootout as a part of the faction development and must be done accordingly and realistically. PM @Caravan@TOPTIERQUALIFIED or @ivannandisatrio if you have any inquiry.
