He grew up in a working-class family, with his father a welder and his mother selling home-cooked food to survive. When he was ten years old, his family moved illegally to Los Santos, hoping for a better life. That hope didn’t last long. They settled in El Corona, a rough neighborhood where survival often meant choosing the good side. From a young age, Manzo was used to being pushed around by older kids and learned how to stay out of trouble or at least how to deal with it when it came. He tried to stay focused in school and even enrolled in community college, majoring in automotive repair. However, financial problems soon hit him. His father became ill and could no longer work, and the stress at home became too much. Eventually, he started skipping school more often and hanging out with a group of street kids. At first, he just hung out, but as time went on, he started committing petty crimes stealing cars, selling marijuana, and eventually bigger jobs like home invasion. One job went wrong. The police came, shots were fired, and one of his friends was killed. Manzo was arrested and sentenced to two years in prison for illegal firearms. Inside, his life changed when he met Oscar “El Jefe" Garcia a senior member of the Mexican Mafia. Oscar saw something in Manzo calm under pressure, quiet strength, and a sharp mind. He took Manzo under his wing, taught him the real workings of the gang, and gave him protection from rival gangs. A few months before he was released, Oscar made him an offer: if Manzo wanted safety and a place on the streets, he would have to contribute to the 18th Street Gang. It wasn’t a good choice. So he agreed. When he got out, the 18th Street Gang took him in. He started out as a runner and a scout, doing small jobs. But because of his calmness and reliability, he rose quickly through the ranks. He wasn’t the type to start a fight. He preferred to talk things out first. But when things got bad, he knew what needed to be done. But deep down, this wasn’t the life he wanted. He loved cars, especially lowriders. He dreams of opening his own garage someday, away from all this chaos. He doesn't want his cousin or his old friends to follow the same path.
