ANARCUTE Posted April 6, 2025 Posted April 6, 2025 Harmony Green Homes are a Los Santos Housing Authority (LSHA) public housing project on the 501 Arbor Vitae Street of Los Santos, Harmony Oaks. At its peak, Harmony-Green was home to 8,000 people, mostly living in mid- and high-rise apartment buildings. Crime and neglect created hostile living conditions for many residents, and "Harmony-Green" became a metonym for problems associated with public housing in the Los Santos. In 1995, LSHA began tearing down dilapidated mid-and high-rise buildings, with the last demolished in 2011. Today, only the original three-story rowhouses remain and Harmony-Green is mostly inhabited by people who migrated from New York such as the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Harlem. Oaks Youngsters, also known as the OY is a predominantly African-American based street gang/set based entirely in the Los Santos, 501 Arbor Vitae Street. Newly formed cet around 2024 founded by Tracey Colt and his gang Olin Moss, Kaprice Love, Earl Kross and Tivonte Elison they called themselves the big five, there is no OGs there because they just started the youngsters gang in the Harmony Green Project. The culture and image around "gangbanging" in Los Santos has evolved for better and for worse. When the first gang-banging aroused in the city of Los Santos, it was mostly African American males and females trying to put food on their table, or seeking protection and power. But in the current years, gangbanging has become a violent war between rival sets ,they are local young men aged fifteen to twenty, they are addicted to drill rap a genre known for its aggressive beats, violent lyrics, and street-oriented content. Drill music originated in Chicago but has seen a significant rise in popularity in New York City, particularly in neighborhoods like the Bronx and Brooklyn.
