Garegin Shirinyan was involved with a network of robbers at the time or could be called “Vorovskoy Mir”. Garegin Shirinyan's goal at that time was only so that he could survive, the economic crisis hit the Soviet Union. Then a year later the Soviet Union collapsed. Garegin Shirinyan and some of his friends while still involved with the robber network decided to move to the United States, more precisely they went to New York to start a new life there and feel free, because Garegin Shirinyan was fed up with oppression and poverty. It was around 1992 when Garegin Shirinyan arrived in New York. Unexpectedly, many Armenians also came to New York. Many Armenians established their own groups to build their criminal power in New York. One of them was Garegin Shirinyan. Garegin Shirinyan decided to establish his own group, with the aim of Garegin Shirinyan wanting to become rich because he was fed up with the poverty that existed before coming to New York. Garegin Shirinyan's group did various ways to get money, whether it was robbing a shop, stealing a car and selling it, and others. However, Garegin Shirinyan's group focused more on drug dealing, because in that year there were many Americans who were interested in using drugs. The Garegin Shirinyan group also laundered the money from these dirty activities by setting up several businesses in New York. In order for their drug dealing business to run smoothly, the Garegin Shirinyan group established relationships with government officials in New York so that their activities were not known to the police. The Garegin Shirinyan group distributes their drugs to the gangsters there, one of which is Armenian Power 13. Around 2014, the Garegin group was in its prime. Many people did drug transactions with Garegin's group. The Garegin group was very successful in the drug business. There were many obstacles at that time for the Garegin group because there was also a lot of competition in the drug business. Garegin's group committed many acts of murder to his business rivals so that the drug business carried out by his rivals would disappear. But the FBI knew about it. The FBI began to attack one of the Garegin group's legal businesses, and it turned out that Garegin Shirinyan himself was there. A shootout took place between the FBI and Garegin's group. But slowly the FBI is getting more and more while the Garegin group is slowly getting fewer members. Finally the Garegin group lost the shootout. Garegin Shirinyan surrendered and the FBI arrested Garegin. Garegin Shirinyan was later sentenced to death. Not forgetting that the FBI also destroyed all the businesses run by the Garegin group, they also found a small factory that the Garegin group used to make drugs. But it turned out that there were several important members of the Garegin group who survived the incident, they decided to hide and go to another city to survive the FBI, not forgetting that they also eliminated traces so that the FBI could not be traced. At the end of 2024, the few surviving members of Garegin's group decided to start over in the city of Los Santos. The members re-formed a new group so that they could do drug business again like in the old group. With the remaining cocaine owned by the members, they started doing drug business around Los Santos. Louys Mihr bought a property in Los Santos, Richman, to use as a laundry business. This laundry business was just to cover up the drug business they were running, and also to do money laundering. The money from the drug business will be used to buy drug supplies from abroad, more precisely from Mexican cartels. They also bribed officials in Los Santos so that their drug supplies would arrive safely. They began to compete with other groups in the drug business. Like the old group, they would do all kinds of things so that their drug business would have many buyers and could beat their rival's drug business.
