Orlando Campagna had been running for what felt like forever. It was apparent to him that the East Coast was no longer safe after the blown up business deal. His goal was to move away from the chaos, so he left everything behind. But deep down, he always knew they'd send someone after him. He just didn't expect it to be someone like Kourtney Moss. Her reputation preceded her—cold, precise, and deadly. What made it worse was that Kourtney was once a trusted business connection, someone he had worked closely with. He could feel her shadow looming closer with each passing day.

Every move Orlando made was calculated, every city he fled to chosen with care. Despite his efforts, she was always one step behind him no matter how far he ran. Whenever he woke up, he would feel a cold sweat, fearful that she would catch up to him. Eventually, it would happen. Upon making his way to a quiet coastal town, he hoped to blend in and find peace. However, he knew his time was up when he saw a silhouette of Kourtney in the distance. Orlando couldn't help but notice how ironic it was that a former ally turned hunter had come to kill him.

As Kourtney closed in, Orlando's fear was palpable. He had been replaced by a desperate man, no longer a confident businessman but one who was desperate for survival. There was no escape. It was up to him to lie in the bed he had made. A brief moment of unwavering gaze was all he saw before darkness descended. Not just his own life had been destroyed because of the deal he had made, but countless others as well. And amidst those thoughts, the bitter realization that Kourtney, once a business ally, had become his executioner.
