What exactly is a Kabuto?

Kabuto (兜, 冑) is a type of helmet first used by ancient Japanese warriors who, in later periods, became an important part of the traditional Japanese armour worn by the samurai class and their retainers in feudal Japan.

The traditional Japanese helmet, the Kabuto, was part of a protective suit of armor that reflected the wearer's character and personality. Over time, it changed from a primarily protective device to a vehicle for the expression of a distinctly Japanese sense of magnificent artistry.

Hidden face behind the mask

Jake Yamamoto Pemberton is a young man who has a natural affinity for automobiles. He grew up in a small town in Japan and decided to move to Los Santos because he felt something big awaited him. He is well-versed in the legend of the legendary samurai hero who wore a Kabuto mask to protect their village. Jake decided to tattoo the Kabuto mask to protect something he cared about.

Jake also brought back his old racing team, the Valkyrie Racing Team, which he founded in Osaka when he was active in illegal racing in Japan, and rebuilt it in Los Santos with his crew. The Valkyrie Racing Team was also formed to deceive the police and make it difficult for them to pursue and apprehend the original illegal club.

Face of an outlaw

At first, Jake has been collecting his money by doing illegal racing schemes on the streets of Los Santos, but after several years of living on the street, Bless needs him to get some jobs done back in Japan. Bless told him that he was going to do some business under his uncle, Bless also said that if Jake succeeded in completing the tasks given by Bless' uncle, their crew would get a supply of illicit goods from there.

Until now, Jake still goes back and forth from Los Santos to Japan and vice versa just to ensure that his crew in Los Santos still gets supplies of goods from Japan. In Japan, Jake is also quite famous by the nickname of 金髪の鯉 (Kinpatsu no Koi) because he's bringing the clan some goodness as he was in Japan and he was born blonde.
