He is an African-American descent and grew up in a fairly modest family. As a child, James spent much of his time to playing with friends on a par with his economy at Jefferson. When James entered elementary school, he attended a school where the majority of students were white skins. Unfortunately, James experienced racism and bullying from his schoolmates, which made it difficult for James to study. Several years later, the James family lost their house due to debts their father had accumulated with the bank. They had to move to a smaller house in a low-cost rental area near the hills of Los Santos. The house is a trailer house, they are so happy and grateful because they still have a place to live. James felt it difficult to adapt to his new environment, as he was used to hanging out with his friends at Jefferson, where he felt more at home. He started getting part-time jobs at a local grocery store to help ease the burden on his parents by paying his school fees from that salary. Not unexpectedly in the grocery store they produce the narcotics. After graduating high school at the age of 19, James decided to join his friends as the drug dealer under his boss at Jefferson. They sell various drugs such as heroin, cocaine, and methamphetamine. James quickly stocked up on his belongings and gained an unforgettable experience, he built a connection of retail customers and his business began to grow. Now they have to deal with rival drug dealers looking to take over Jefferson, and James and his gang must stay alert for police raids that come up every now and then without them knowing it.
