Nicky Fields spent her childhood in a neighborhood dominated by Piru Bloods street gangs. Because of the poverty in her neighborhood, Nicky Fields was forced to become involved in politics as she grew up. In her neighborhood, Nicky is known as a roughneck who often gets into fights and arguments at school, on the block, and in public. Essentially, this was due to her older siblings being members of Tree Top Piru when they were teenagers. Though she wasn't placed on the set, she's still accepted because of her deep family connection to the Pirus gangs. After spending two months in youth authority on drug related charges, Nicky Fields created the persona Lady Syko for herself. It is reported that she stabs males and females without a trace of remorse. When it gets hot, she holds down guns and drugs for homies so they don't get caught by the police. Following in her older brothers' footsteps, Nicky began spraying over her rivals tag as soon as she got to their territory to follow in their footsteps. Staying active in the set added to the tension between her homeland's gang and their rivals. Nicky began making a name for herself in the hood by getting aggressive with males that the hood wasn't too fond of or knew much about. To prevent other reputable TTP members from getting locked up in jail, she stabbed a snitch who called the police on her homies. In the end, she felt there was no need to put her foot on the brake pedal, so she stabbed a rival female gang member when the recognition had gone to her head. As a result of this, the rival gangs of the Tree Top Pirus began fighting each other, resulting in several shootings, which made them the leaders in the "scoreboard" of street life.
