His father's name is Cameroon Dwight, and his mother's name is Fatimah Khalifa. Malik's family is an African-American Muslim family. Although according to the birth certificate Malik was born in Brooklyn, in reality, he was not. Malik and his parents moved to Los Santos when he was only a year old. His parents worked in a restaurant in Los Santos to provide for his family and little Malik. Malik is a cheerful kid, who likes to joke and troll others. Malik is also very energetic in doing many things, especially the things he likes automotive stuff. Growing up in a small family, Malik learned to be the person he is and doesn't like to exaggerate things. Starting his first education at Crenshaw Jefferson High Elementary school, Malik began to recognize social interactions in the form of community. At this phase, Malik did not yet know the true meaning of a community, or its dark side. And Malik also spent his time just like a regular child, playing with his friends. Starting to grow up, Malik growing just like African-American teenagers in general puts aside religious views. Malik mingled with his friends who incidentally were non-Muslims in Los Santos. From here Malik's non-religious habit was formed. He is not a person who has a religious personality towards his religion. Malik prefers to follow what has to be followed, and enjoy what has to be enjoyed. When he graduated from school, Malik received a gift from his father. His father gave him an old motocross for Malik's commodities. Unexpectedly this attracted Malik's attention, he now has a hobby in the world of "Stunt rides". Learning small things using his old motorbike, Malik is also adept at playing many tricks on his old motorbike. Until the time came when his father died. Malik had closed himself for years after losing his father. One year after his father's departure, Malik found a legacy of his father. It was reported by an heir that his father prepared something for Malik. His father's legacy is in the form of financial savings to buy a motorbike with the latest output for Malik. But all that money was not enough for his father's dream to give Malik a Kawasaki KX450. Malik is starting to get his spirits back. Begin to work hard to fill his time to support his small family. Malik is now the alpha male of his family, After economic conditions improved, Malik finally managed to get his father's dream to give himself the latest Kawasaki KX450.
