$yash$ Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 Oaks Housing Projects, Los Santos, June, 2003 With poverty reaching an all-time high, many youths of Los Santos found themselves jobless, poverty-stricken, bored, and exposed to gang culture, a perfect receipt for trouble. 424 Oaks Housing Project was no different, located in Idlewood, an area caught in between violent gangs, which had constant shootouts and drive-bys within the area. 424 Oaks Housing Project was one of the poorest areas in Los Santos, most of the residents were unemployed and survived off food stamps and helped form the government due to the awful living condition. Gangster Disciples or better known as GD, were first established in the late 2000s by the founder Desharious Graves. Desharious or also shortened by Deji, established the Gangster Disciples in 2003, after the breaking down of his old crime organization from the feds. 5 members were killed in an incident, including Jekeil "Jeffy" Jefferson, the organization leader. The GD's was formed in Idlewood originally by recruiting a few youths local. Deji has a great idea for recruiting more members. He told Queenty, the singer who has an angel voice in the hood to make a music video. After success with his MV and goes viral, many viewers watch it and push more local youth from poor backgrounds to join the gang. Gangster Disciples were based on protecting people in the hood as they started they would protect ladies and other people that get attacked. But yet there exactly robbing the hood that's how they gained their power. Because the people in the world looked at them as good people cause they helped around. But until later on in a few years, it broke out into violence. They claimed they fight to protect, they had soldiers and they preferred there a group like the Nation their original colors are Red, Black, Blue, and green. They said to the cops they are not the enemy they are a helping organization. They claimed they were an organization that helped the black community until later on in the years they busted out into violence. They told everyone in LS that they were not here to help then they began to push drugs in the streets. That's when things began to get worse in Idlewood and some of the disciples moved down into Idlewood. Soon enough the police did more research on them doing pat-downs and watching them more. They found out the gang was running like an army and they were a dangerous vicious gang not here to help. Youth Disciples, Los Santos, April, 2004 Deji made two groups in his association. In the first group named G.O.O.N.S, ebK team with tasked with protecting the hood and gang attacks. In the second group, they are called P.L.A.T.O.O.N.S, a team that moves to assist Deji in receiving, as well as selling narcotics to Los Santos through the Mexican cartel. Deji sells these items through his members. He didn't want to get his hands dirty and get caught by the feds. Sales were carried out on a large scale to persuade Los Santos residents to become addicted to narcotics. This of course will get a big advantage to the gang. Talking about profits, a Generals must be able to supervise his members to teach them about actions on the streets, such as narcotics trafficking and distribution, (forcing) prostitution, sexual abuse, theft, robberies, weapon trafficking, homicide, embezzlement, money laundering, racketeering, and various other petty thefts. This is to raise self-confidence and also of fellow gang members. A member who is considered a coward will be judged as being beaten to fight his fear.
