Since his father died because of a big fire that devoured his house, Rico felt very devastated by the incident because he felt useless because he couldn't help his father. Rico decided to go to Los Santos because he couldn't find a suitable job in his hometown and couldn't find a job. At that time, Gilang Jovi, his old friend, worked in a private company and offered the job to Rico. With a slumped state, Rico unceremoniously accepted the offer. After his acceptance into the company, Rico started to make money from his own business and he always arrived earlier than the other employees.
