Vincent is Italian-born and is a descent from Palermo, Sicily Island, Italy who spent his childhood in the liberalist country called the United States of America. Vincent's father, Anthony Barzini, was a factory worker who was disbanded and recruited by the Italian Mafia in Chicago who influenced the whole city of Chicago. Vincent hasn't realized that his father is a criminal on orders to support his family wealth crises. Vincent's mother, Sienna Barzini, was a hat knitter in Chicago who died as a result of being murdered by his father's rival when Vincent was thirteen years old. Vincent spent his time with his father and was forced to work in an Italian restaurant at the age of fifteen, at that time he worked with the restaurant’s owner once his father's boss. When Vincent was seventeen years old, his father was killed in a trap by a rival and at that time he felt a surge of anger at the loss of his parents at a young age and was forced to earn his own money by himself. Time passed by, Vincent met Michael Mancuso who was an errand boy from Enrico Bonanno and offered Vincent to work with him in the residential area security business on the South Side of Chicago. The business began to develop after Michael Mancuso was able to make money and reach the target amount that Enrico Bonanno gave. Enrico was satisfied and appointed Michael Mancuso as Caporegime and Vincent was accepted into The Bonanno Family as an Associate. Vincent intended to avenge his father, he was accepting a job from Enrico Bonanno to take on a business expert in the Bonnano territory by extortion. On that mission, Vincent met Rocco Palmice who became Vincent's friend and daily partner in business. After the missions he took and won praises from Enrico, Vincent dedicated his hard work to prove himself worthy in the family and was promoted to Soldier while Michael Mancuso was appointed as Enrico Bonanno's right-hand man for took over the West Side of Chicago and expanded business in Chicago. When Vincent was twenty years old after several jobs he took from Enrico, The head of the Bonanno Family dies in a car accident which is accused of a plot to overthrow Enrico’s leadership. Michael Mancuso took over The Bonnano Family by promoting Vincent to Caporegime due to his trust toward Vincent since the beginning he dedicated himself to Bonanno Family. During Michael Mancuso's leadership, internal conflicts began in The Bonanno Family, Tommy Lucchese, who is one of Michael's trusted Caporegimes, tried to take over The Bonanno Family due to his jealousy of Michael Mancuso and there were several new policies that hindered the members. Tommy Lucchese attempted to kill Michael Mancuso by cooperating with the Police and Tommy was offering Vincent to take over the organization in his sleazy way, however, Vincent refused Tommy's offer because he was trying to be loyal and lived off the available jobs in The Bonanno Family. Vincent planned to get rid of Tommy Lucchese at all costs, he again contacted Rocco Palmice who is his friend to went to Los Santos to save himself and it was also Michael Mancuso's order to carried out his ambitious idea to expand his business in Los Santos. After the success of Michael Mancuso and Vincent Barzini to get rid of Tommy Lucchese, Michael Mancuso started to become a rogue because he did not want to be taken over from his power in The Bonanno Family, Vincent knew Michael Mancuso's greedy idea and tried to be loyal even though Michael changes. Vincent got an offer to go to Los Santos to meet Rocco and some of his trusted Soldiers to carry out an offer from Michael Mancuso. However, Vincent's intention was different from Michael Mancuso's idea, Vincent tried to live his new life with the frills of doing Michael's work in Los Santos. Vincent's intention in his heart was to start a new career and life and leave Chicago's dirty nest. There he went straight to the airport and ordered a ticket with a briefcase containing not much money to go to Los Santos, from there the life of Vincent Barzini began as an ordinary young man who wanted to get away from his bad past.
