Edward Carlson was a former doctor who turned his profession into a drug maker, and was trusted by the family of "The Black Dragon" as their drug maker in Los Santos. But because of Edward's negligence, which took excessive results with the criminal family, Edward was gradually forgotten as an associate. Because Edward was not of Asian descent, the family didn't really care about Edward.

There came a subordinate of Edward Carlson named Rosas Borego, who became a small-scale drug dealer around Playa. At that time, Borego asked Edward for his wages, but because of Edward's greed, made Borego angry because he did not want to share the proceeds, which made Borego furious, and in the end, beat Edward many times until he passed out and bleed comes out from his nose and mouth.

When Edward fainted, Borego tied him up and put him in his taxi car trunk, and then drove into a butcher factory that belongs to Edward and Borego's organization. Because it was night time and there was no one guarding that place, Borego didn't give Edward a chance to speak. Even though he didn't give Edward a chance to breath, Borego is a gangster. This means Borego will not stop his actions.

Borego started torturing Edward by hitting him repeatedly and doing something impolite, throwing his used condom at Edward's face with hatred that is beyond logical reasoning. Because of his psychopathic action, there was no choice for Edward to fight or speak. Borego started turning on the meat-cutting machine, and Edward started getting chopped up by the machine. It was the end of his life.
