However, all life begins without planning and without us fully knowing what Estan is up against. Estan is an immigrant from Mexico who comes to the United States to take refuge from a very corrupt city. The city is run by a cartel and hardly allows anyone to keep enough money in Estan's pocket to feed Estan himself. So in the middle of the age of 16, Estan made the decision to escape to Los Santos and start over... leaving everything behind. Fast forward 2 years, Estan finds himself left to fend for himself on the streets of New York after their parents died in a car accident one day on their way home from work. Since Estan's parents struggled as the boys got older, there wasn't much left for Estan. Estan finds himself homeless, uneducated, and struggling to survive for months. Jobs without education are impossible to find and slowly but surely Estan starts stealing and fighting for what Estan needs to survive. Estan is robbing shops for food and drink... breaking into abandoned places for shelter at night... and robbing houses for as little money as Estan can. The brothers begin to live life as criminals and enjoy it. What Estan doesn't know is that they are being watched constantly. One afternoon Estan started walking to a new place which they heard was quite profitable for anyone willing to take the risk, however, on the way Estan was stopped by some men who spoke some English and told Estan to come along. At first Estan refuses but is no match for these people once they pull out their weapons and demand that they follow them. Estan proceeds to follow the men to an abandoned building nearby where a man and a girl their age are waiting. The man begins to offer Ezekial and Gavriel many things including a life full of wealth. Estan tries to find out who they are and what happens when Estan sees the mark on the man's arm. Estan started to look around the room when they saw all the men in the room had the same mark on the left side of their neck. The image was something unholy which they later discovered was the mark of the Demon Cartel. A group known for drug and gun smuggling, kidnapping and torture, and many other things. Estan not fully aware of what they are getting into agrees to go with these people and try to improve their lives through their methods.
