HISTORY

Griper Motorcycle Club formed in 1973 in the city of Lakeville, Minnesota. Chaired by Philip Lawrence Miller, this motorbike club consisted of 8 members at the beginning of its formation, but over time, the members of this motorcycle club increased to 23 people. The business they run is to open a motorbike repair shop and a bar until 1976. Due to their dissatisfaction with the income that was not too much, Philip then conferred with the members of it's club.

The result of the first discussion was that they are going to start trafficking cocaine, crack and marijuana. Their supplier or business partner is a customer at their custom motorbike repair shop, Alejandro Martinez. He is a man from Cuba who has been in the drug trafficking business for a dozen years. The working system is, Alejandro and his team will bring their motorbike to be customized. The motorbike was smuggled in various types of drugs according to Philip's order.

They met at the workshop, and the drugs were transferred again to the warehouse owned by the motorbike club. Griper Motorcycle Club's relationship with Alejandro is going well. Their business is running smoothly, and benefits both parties. In 1986, Philip was invited to cooperate with the Russian mafia. They offer Philip and his motorcycle club to be bodyguards in the illegal arms trade. He offers a loan to Philip to expand his motorbike repair and custom business.

Philip, who was tempted by the amount of money offered, then accepted the mafia's invitation. Initially, their cooperation went well. It's just that, in the middle of 1986, Philip passed a grace period to make payments from the loan that had been given. The income from the repair shop and drugs is not enough to cover the nominal loan given. Philip and the club members then discuss about the debt. They inevitably have to make money in an instant and fast way.

The result was a plan to commit  bank robbery, which is The U.S. Bank. On August 18, they launched the action. They started riding from the repair shop to the bank at 4 am. Arriving at the bank at 6 o'clock, they immediately broke through the bank and went straight to the warehouse. Banks that are not open at that time are considered easier to enter, because bank employees have not finished preparing everything.

There were no victims, because they were only after money and didn't want to get involved in murder. At 6.15 am, they managed to get out of the bank, and immediately fled to a village close to the forest in the city of Grand Marais. Neither the police nor the government could find them at that time because their movement was fast. They managed to bring in 5 chests containing 6 million dollars. The next day, they met with the Russian mafia to make debt payments.

Philip, who felt guilty for all members of the Griper motorcycle club, asked them all to temporarily disband, until the atmosphere began to recover. Some of the members went out of town, went abroad, and some remained loyal and followed Philip wherever he went. 10 years later, in 1996, Philip and several other members returned to Lakeville. They return to their respective families and live in hiding. Their motorbike repair shop was confiscated 10 years ago as a result of a robbery they committed.

The bar they owned was also abandoned. Some of the members of the club  went to prison for other crimes, some died of drug and alcohol addiction, some moved and became members of motor gangsters, some repented. With their return to Lakeville, activities and meetings continued. However, they gather and live in a hidden area so as not to be caught by the local government.

REGENERATION

Philip Lawrence Miller is married to Patty Campbell and has an only son named Anthonius Bradley Miller. His own son is also part of the Griper Motorcycle Club. Philip's dirty work certainly went unheard of by the family members of all members, including his own. Their families only know that the Griper Motorcycle Club was founded because of the same hobbies and only opens a workshop and a bar. Philip's son is sent to a well-known school. He is a smart and great boy. At first, Philip didn't want Anthonius to be like himself.

He believes that his son's future will be bright and successful. 2 years after the case committed by his father and other club members, Anthonius graduated from Lakeville University and then went to Mexico to marry his girlfriend. He believes his father may never come back as a result of the robbery he did. From this marriage, Anthonius had the first son whom he named Phil Miller. He dedicated his father's name to be given to his son, because his father was very instrumental in his life. In 1996 when Philip and several members of the Griper returned to Lakeville, he went straight to their respective families.

Philip, who just found out that his son went to Mexico and got married, immediately tried to contact him. He wanted his son to continue the Griper, but Anthonius refused. He refused his father's offer because in Mexico he was starting to live a clean life. Finally, the Griper was still chaired by Philip. Griper's activity continues, but remains under cover. In 2007, his 18-year-old first grandson returned to Minnesota. He moved in with his girlfriend to start a new life in America. Anthonius also left a message for Phil to go find his grandfather.

Philip and his grandson then met for the first time in his life. He really wants his descendants to continue the motorcycle club he owns. But again, Philip's offer was rejected. Phil, his grandson wants to live clean in Minnesota. The relationship between grandfather and grandchild is still going well. Phil married in 2008 and worked at a shooting training. His life is going well and clean. Several members of the Griper Motorcycle Club died of age and illness. This club only left 7 members in 2010. Their average age is 75 years, making this club impossible to run again. The origin of this regeneration was when Phil lost his little family.

His wife Eiza and their two children were killed in a car accident when a drunk driver hit them. Phil, who is bored and begins to lose his way, then travels to various cities looking for an escape. Finally, in early 2020, Phil approached his grandfather and was ready to take over his grandfather's leadership at the Griper Motorcycle Club. Together with his friend Marco, he will continue the motorbike club in a more modern way, recruiting young members, creating new businesses and making the Gripers name known again in a positive way.

They plan to open a repair shop, bar, stripclub and carwash. However, the "negative" offer still followed them. Glen Cohen, co-owner of an adult film station, offers Phil to be his personal courier. What Phil and his gang will be bringing with them is some cocaine and shabu-shabu for Glen Cohen's personal use. With this, the Griper Motorcycle Club got back up and started walking chaired by the grandson of Griper's first chairman, Phil Miller.
