His father was a well-known farmer and his mother was a shrine maiden, a life full of happiness is to be expected from him. As a child, he was already known for his kindness for helping anyone without hesitations. Such attitude brought him a lot of friends, along with one beautiful and cheerful girl, Yamada Hagu, whom he loved. Growing up together, going to the same school, even the same class for 12 years straight, is exceeding all that he could ask for. Graduating from high school, he finally confessed his feelings to Hagu whom he loved since he was a kid. Hagu accepted his feelings as to be expected, and stated that she had already fallen for him ever since he was helping her when she was bullied by other kids because of her being short. He told her that he will be the greatest farmer in Japan, and then he would invent the greatest tools to improve farming qualities in Tottori, such a great dream for a mere countryside boy who never sets his foot outside. At first, it was all lovey-dovey stories up until one accident that changed him forever... Spoiler Hideki Hikki, in his uniform One day, as he was taking Hagu back from a movie date they were ambushed by an all-black car from which came some men dressed in tuxedo and soon enough they both were held in gunpoint. They were confused, and scared and they started wondering "Why did this happen to us?". "What do you want from us?!" Hikki shouted, but not even one of the tuxedo-dressed men replied. As Hikki tried to stand, one of the men shot the gun aimed few centimeters in front of Hagu. Hikki understood that if he tried anything stupid, Hagu's life would be the cost. Another car came, and an old man came out of the car and laugh softly. All Hikki was able to see was just a silhouette, as he was blinded by the car's headlight. "Are you Osamu's son?" asked the man, it was so quiet that Hikki could hear it clearly, yet he didn't answer. "Are you Osamu's son?" Asked the man again, as the gunmen pointed their guns toward Hagu. "YES. WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!" Hikki answered, his voice was shaky. "We don't want anything from you, since this is just a message." answered the man, "This is for what he had done" the man continued. Then all of sudden, the gunman behind Hikki knocked them out. Few hours later, Hikki found himself laying in the roadside, alone. Calling out Hagu's name in desperate tone, as his tears running down his cheeks. He ran towards his home, only to find Hagu's and his mother dead-bodies. Those bodies were put at the table, just like the sight when they were about to have a family dinner, the only difference was that there were bullet holes on their heads, bloodstain on the table. "What has we done that we deserve such fate?" "GOD, ARE YOU FUCKING WITH ME? WAS I NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU THAT I DON'T DESERVE HAPPINESS?" Hikki shouted his head off all night. He resented his father, blamed him for every god-forsaken shit that has befallen on to Hikki. As he cleaned up the mess, he heard a knocking on his front door, turned out it was his father. His father came home soaked in blood, Hikki forgot his resentment toward his dad as he rushed up to him. In his last breaths, he told hikki that he was sorry for everything, as he was dying he gave hikki a key and a bloodstained paper in which written the adress to some apartment in town. Hikki stood up, taking all he could take and set his house on fire. He watched it as his house burns, as the heat melts his heart. Spoiler He left, heading towards the apartment his father pointed. Unbeknownst to him, what fate awaits him there. It was an old low-class apartment, wooden floor and walls. Inside, he found all the notes his father wrote. He then learnt that his father was targeted by some Yakuza because he was protecting their land from businessman who wanted to build a Vegas-like complex which would make the farmers there suffers. Inside the drawer, he found a passport, some money, and a letter addressed to Hideki Hikki. Spoiler Quote Get out of Japan, go to San Andreas as they can't reach you out there. I'm sorry, i knew this would happen but i never thought that you and Hagu would be targetted too. I did what i thought was right, i'm not asking for forgiveness from you. So please, go to San Andreas and live your new life there. Forget everything that has happened here, and try to enjoy your life to the fullest. I know it's hard for you, losing your mom and hagu. Osamu. He took all of those papers, he then went to the airport to make a one-way-trip to San Andreas, a trip in which he could never go back from, or even gets him killed later on. He then boarded on the Andromeda Airplane, as the plane took off he looked through the window. He then made a vow, he would make those bastards pay for what they have done. And thus, his journey in San Andreas started...
