Barney Gallo Laurence was born in Chicago Illinois, United States of  America. He was a orphan kid since he was 9 years old. He lost his all family in fire accident which was happened in his residence, he was just a boy but he managed to get out from the house. He was just standing outside and watched his house got burned by a blazing flame, and he can't do anything even though his little sister was screaming and calling his name, he was just crying and feel so useless at that time. And since then he was taken care by Divison of Children and Family Service of Illinois. And that time he knew what he wanted to be in the future, he wanted to be a firefighter so he could save lives and do what makes him so scared since the accident happened.

 

 

 

When he was 12 years old, some foster family adopted him as their son. There were originally Italian but they lived in USA long time ago, and luckily his foster daddy was a firefighter for Chicago Fire Department, which makes Barney so happy about that. Barney told his step daddy that he wanted to be a firefighter just like him, after his foster dad knew about it, he told Barney if Barney needs to work hard for it, have a deep passion for this job, and be patience because he had to finish his education first. Year after year passed away, and Barney was 20, he finished everything that he needs to apply to be a firefighter for Chicago Fire Department. After he applied and became a firefighter intern, he was the best intern in his academy at that time. Even though he was just a boy that was going to change to be a mature man the instructor was left speechless by him, because his determination, passion and wanted to be a firefighter. After the academy finished, he became a firefighter trainee and they put him in Chicago Fire Department district 61, and there he met Matthew Ashworth his Liutenant on Truck 81 division, and under Matthew's supervision, Barney learned a lot of things from Liutenant Matthew. Year after year passed away, Matthew decided to transfer himself to San Andreas Fire Department as a Battalion Chief, and Barney was sad about that, but Barney was a senior firefigter of fire Truck 81 at that time. And Liutenant Matthew said that Barney should pay him a visit somedays.

 

When Barney turned 24 years old, sadly his foster dad has been passed away. And Barney had some thought to move to San Andreas to get a new experience and pay his old mate a visit. And then he decided to sell all his property that he had in Chicago, and the proceeds from the sale will be donated to his old Fire Department district 61. And then he went to San Andreas, and met Matthew and he decided to apply to be a firefighter for San Andreas Fire Department.
