Derek is a bad boy, when he was in middle school, he always skipped the class and secretly smoked with his brother and friend named Malik Hensley. He used to have a group whose contents were Derek himself, his older brother Langston and the last was Malik. The three of them often stole beer at the convenience store or commonly known as seven eleven. They are often also caught by the police, but because of their young age they are released unconditionally. Unlike his brother who only graduated in elementary school, Derek graduated in junior high school because he was too bored with school life. His mother is a former prostitute and his father is a robber specialist empty house. His father is a hard man. Derek and his older brother were often hit by blunt objects by their own father. But with that torturing family life, they became cruel in society. Derek once accidently killed a man he robbed on the street, he was very scared because it was the first time he kill a person. Derek hid from place to place and thought he would not be caught by the police, not as he thought, it turned out that one of his friends was a police informant. he was put in a juvenile cell for two years for murder. During his imprisonment, Derek met with many high-class criminals, Derek got along with them who turned his fear of crime into a matter of pride. He often makes trouble with his friends there, he once beat the guards until his jail time was added by 2 months. 26 months passed and Derek got released from the jail, outside the prison there was Malik who pick him up, along the ride Derek was invited by Malik to run some illegal bussines and join an criminal organization. before entering the organization he was given a test by the cartel boss, all the tests he passed well and he was given a trial period in the illegal business. Apparently his brother Langston also participated in this business, they were known as duo brothers in that criminal organization.
