Desmond_Clay Desmond Clay, is an African American man, 24 years old, lives in a small low-cost apartment in Ganton, Los Santos. He was born and raised in the city, but not around Ganton. Growing up, Clay was raised on the Eastside, a place that has been crowded with different gangs. Because of that, the environment he lived in was not really good. He is the only child in his family, and both of his parents worked regular 9 to 5 jobs, making just enough to keep the house and the family runs. Even though his parents tried to keep him away from the streets, his childhood was surrounded by gang activities as he ended up hanging with the local gang kids, the thing that can't be avoided. When he was 18, his mother passed away because of a car accident. After that, everything changed at the home. His father became an alcoholic and often came home drunk. Clay later found out his dad was hiding a lot of weed in his closet. Clay knew the weed had value, so he took it and sold it to his friends. When his father found out, he got angry and beat Clay. After that day, He started shifting from neighbor’s house to another neighbor's, basically sleeping wherever he could. Long story short, Clay once helped out a friend, a small-time drug dealer, with a deal at an old dump house. Turns out, it was a setup. Someone snitched on them, and a bunch of narcotics agents stormed the place. Clay got detained for a few days but was eventually released since they found nothing on him. Clay lives in Ganton now. He rents a cheap place and just tries to survive. He has no job and no clear way to make money. Sometimes he thinks about doing what his old friends did, sell drugs.
