Park Dahyun was the only child of an elite South Korean family; her father was a notorious mafia figure, while her mother was a fairly well-known singer. Her father was of British descent, and her mother was Korean. Her father was a ruthless mafia boss who, on any given day, would leave people injured or dead. Her mother enjoyed significant popularity among the youth, as her songs resonated deeply with the younger generation of that time. When Dahyun was twelve years old, she was scouted by a prominent agency to become an idol.

During her time as a trainee aiming to join a girl group, she trained alongside many peers who also aspired to become idols. However, at the age of 17, she was not selected for the new group; consequently, she decided to quit the agency and return to an ordinary life. When she turned 20, she decided to pursue her studies in the United States and start a new life there. One day, while returning home from college, she ran into a classmate who was working as a drug dealer. Intrigued, Dahyun considered entering the trade herself. She learned that her classmate worked for a man named Grace Alexandra, so she accompanied her friend to meet him; Grace agreed to let her join the operation as a drug dealer.

Dahyun worked as a drug dealer in America and had many gangster associates there. Dissatisfied with just dealing drugs, he decided to branch out into illegal arms dealing; he was subsequently recruited by gangsters to supply both weapons and narcotics. He also joined a motorcycle gang, driven by his deep passion for chopper-style bikes. As he established himself as a supplier of arms and drugs, he earned the respect of his own gang and others alike. However, his extensive connections with the criminal underworld eventually drew the attention of the police. Realizing he was being watched by law enforcement, Dahyun decided to relocate to a different city to cover his tracks and begin a new chapter of his criminal life.
