For Dario Eugenio, loyalty was not merely a word; it was the ultimate currency of his life, having grown up on rough streets where mutual protection was essential, Dario believed he had found a kindred spirit in Nacho—a childhood friend he regarded as a brother, however, as their paths diverged—with Nacho Wright working out of town—they spent less time together, eventually, Dario also decided to leave for the city of Los Santos, settling in the Las Colinas district, He found himself living in a neighborhood dominated by the mafia, and there, he began the process of adapting to his new surroundings, over time, Dario grew accustomed to the area and forged close bonds with the locals, eventually earning an invitation to join the mafia organization.

Two years later, Dario decided to track down Nacho, leveraging his intelligence and extensive network of connections, he finally located his childhood friend at a fish factory, The two shared a long, heartfelt conversation and resumed living together, during this time, Dario discovered that Nacho was a member of a Harley motorcycle gang—a group that was actually an enemy of Dario's own organization, Dario kept his true affiliations a secret, telling Nacho instead that he worked as a taxi driver in the city, Nacho was pleased by this news, believing Dario had managed to avoid getting entangled with local gangs. One day, Dario had to leave to attend to a task; Nacho watched as he was picked up in a sleek black car, wondering who his friend was really involved with. Dario was gone for a long time, leaving Nacho behind without any further word.

On June 29, Dario was betrayed by his own gang; a fellow member—driven by envy over Dario's excellent performance within the organization—attempted to kill him, after enduring constant slander, Dario decided to leave the group, he drove his red Sultan to the Vinewood area, his mind in turmoil and filled with dread about what might happen next. He called Nacho Wright and arranged to meet at the Pigpen bar, then hurried over there. Upon arrival, he was warmly greeted by Nacho Wright; however, once inside, Dario revealed his past involvement with the mafia organization, Nacho was furious upon hearing this and took Dario and his associates to a secluded, dark forest—where Dario finally realized that Nacho Wright and his companions intended to kill him.
