Rocco Basilio was born on January 20, 1990, in Zacatecas, Mexico. He was a good child and always obeyed his parents' orders. His father, Juan Basilio, died when he was 5 years old, and his mother, Maria Ariela, worked hard to raise him. Until one day, on his mother's birthday, Rocco tried to celebrate it in front of the local church. At that time, Rocco was loading things into the trunk of his car. Then he heard gunshots after learning that his mother had been the victim of a fatal shooting with a firearm by a local cartel that caused her mother to die instantly. This made him realize that the crime around his residence was excessive due to drug trafficking. He then grew up in an environment with a very high crime rate, resulting in him growing up with inadequate economic conditions. He then worked as a mechanic in his uncle's workshop and earned a little money to survive daily. He was only able to attend high school and left his dream of studying at one of the best universities in his city and had to decide to go abroad to Mexico.

 

Several years later, after his difficult decision to move to America to seek a decent life, young Rocco then struggled to find work and housing in his country due to the high level of racism towards immigrants from various cultures and races, making Rocco experience quite severe difficulties in his first years of moving. Then he worked part-time as a manual laborer for a short time, until he, still unemployed, began to see the police registration and began to apply to the department until he was finally accepted into the police force. He carried out his duties carefully and well until he was finally promoted from his probationary period while at SAPD to Police Officer until he began to successfully handle many daily cases that always occurred in the Los Santos area. With his success in these cases, he finally gained a fairly good reputation within the department. Rocco then enjoyed his daily duties by using the patrol unit that had been assigned to him by his district and made him better than before.
