Known as someone highly disciplined and deeply dedicated to his job, staying late at the office had become part of his routine. It was nothing unusual for Mark to be the last person leaving the building. As the clock slowly passed midnight, exhaustion started to catch up with him. Just as he was about to finish, his phone suddenly rang. It turned out to be an old friend calling and inviting him to meet at a restaurant for dinner and a casual conversation. After thinking for a moment, Mark eventually accepted the invitation, hoping it would help him relax and clear his mind after spending the entire day working. On his way to the restaurant, the city felt unusually quiet. The roads were mostly empty, and only a few cars passed by under the dim streetlights. Not long into the drive, the car he was driving suddenly began experiencing problems. The engine started losing power, followed by strange noises coming from under the hood, until the vehicle eventually came to a stop on the side of a poorly lit road. Feeling both frustrated and exhausted, Mark stepped out to inspect the engine while trying to call his friend to explain the situation and let him know he would probably be late. A few minutes later, an unknown woman approached him and offered to help check the condition of his car. At first, Mark did not suspect anything unusual and assumed she was simply trying to help. However, the situation quickly changed when the woman suddenly demanded his valuables. Panic began to set in as the atmosphere turned tense. During the confrontation, the woman pulled out a firearm and ended Mark Viceant’s life. Shocked and panicked after what had happened, she searched through Mark’s belongings, took his valuables, and later disposed of his body near the sea, hoping nobody would ever find him.
