The Ironstring Posted April 23 Posted April 23 Leornando Torres was not born into poverty or in a dirty street workshop, but in a luxurious estate in Modena, Italy. His father was a former engineer at the Ferrari factory. Because of that, Leo grew up with the roar of the Flat-12 engine as his lullaby. However, one day there was a track tragedy that claimed his father's life, causing Leo to leave the world of professional racing, which he deemed too controlled and political. One nite, he stole his father's Ferrari Testarossa and took it abroad to the United States of America. He started a new life as an illegal racer with the nickname "The Ghost of Maranello" due to his mysterious driving style that suddenly accelerated and outpaced his competitors. It is clear here that the title is earned, not given, because his competitors themselves acknowledge his greatness by saying, "When the rear lights of his Ferrari Testarossa come on, that's the last trace you'll see of him before he disappears from sight." Spoiler This thread is about the life journey of Leornando Torres as a street racer.
