hoeholic Posted March 27 Posted March 27 (edited) Hoashi_Subaru Hoashi Subaru was born in 7 March 2003 and grew up in Gunma, Japan which has very curvy mountain roads and a strong car culture. Since he was young, he had known the sound of engines and the smell of the asphalt burning. His father was a reputed street racer, someone who appeared to be a hero to a young Subaru. All this however changed when a tragic accident claimed the life of his father during a night race. Since that time, the name Subaru has not been an identity anymore, but a painful memory of the loss he could never get a chance to get rid of. Hoashi Subaru turned out to be a quiet and detached individual as he grew up because he preferred to avoid mobs and anything that has to do with racing. He turned away the world his father used to love and became strongly resentful of the car which reminded him of the death of his father. Still, the past did not want to pass away. Each far off engine throb awakened something in him that he had buried so deeply, and he remembered. He was caught in an in-between of forgetting and being unable to forget as though his past was returning him always. Hoashi Subaru gradually started to get the idea that hatred would not bring him anywhere at the age of 22. He began to deal with his past, albeit the task was difficult and unpredictable. In the process, he found out that identity is not determined by a name, inheritance but the decisions one makes. Taking tentative but resolute steps, Hoashi Subaru started to rebuild his life and to know how to turn his sufferings into advantages and to regard his past not as a rope that holds him, but as a lesson, which helps him to move.
