FilthyKikz Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Shavontae_Montana Shavontae Montana was born at Sinai-Grace Hospital, Detroit, Michigan. He grew up in a ghetto neighborhood called Brightmoor located in West Detroit. His childhood was rough because he only supported by his mother, Keisha, who worked at a café. His father, Keith, was an unemployed alcoholic who only obsessed with gambling and hookers. One night, Keisha and Keith got into an argument. Under the influence of alcohol, Keith fired his pistol directly into Keisha's chest. Shavontae, who was only 6 years old at the time, witnessed with his own eyes how his mother was killed by his own father. Keith lost custody and was arrested, sentenced to 25 years in prison. Meanwhile, Shavontae entered the foster care system of the state of Michigan under the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. During that time, Shavontae moved from one foster family to another several times and not a single family was truly fit to take him in. This caused Shavontae to grow into a quiet and vengeful person. At the age of 12, Shavontae boldly ran away from his last foster home. He chose to find food on his own and survive on the streets of East Detroit. Living on the streets made him know other hobos and from them he began learning how to survive, including stealing food. Not so long after, a local Detroit gang noticed the potential in Shavontae and started giving him food, a place to sleep and a sense of belonging. As a directionless teenager who was given things he had never had before, Shavontae began willingly carrying out small tasks assigned to him. Even though he was not directly involved, everything Shavontae did still helped the gang's operations. For the first time in his life, Shavontae felt what it was like to have a family. As he grew older, by the time he turned 18 he was no longer just doing small errands. Several times, Shavontae got involved in small robberies and drug distribution around 8 Mile Road. One day, one of his closest friends in the same gang named Darrius was shot and killed in a gang shootout that should not have involved either Shavontae or Darrius at all. A rival gang pulled up out of nowhere, causing Darrius to get shot in the chest and die on Gratiot Avenue. Shavontae did not shoot and was not carrying a weapon but because he was at the scene he was immediately picked up by the Detroit Police Department. He was sentenced to 3 years in prison at Macomb Correctional Facility, Michigan. Six months after entering, Shavontae got caught up in an inter-block riot triggered by racism among inmates. Shavontae was dragged in as the initiator or main suspect even though his role was not entirely clear. The case was reprocessed and due to this record of violence, federal authorities decided to transfer Shavontae out of state to SACF (San Andreas Correctional Facility). Being far from his hometown, Shavontae slowly came to his senses and tried to better himself while inside his cell. All of that paid off when he turned 20 years old. With good behavior remission, Shavontae was released early after 22 months at SACF.
