Carmelo was born into a simple family, and both of his parents were immigrants from Mexico. Carmelo's mother, Angel Villacres, worked as a restaurant employee. Meanwhile, Carmelo's father, Diego Villacres, worked as a farm laborer. In this harsh environment, Carmelo's parents never gave up and continued to strive to make ends meet. Carmelo was born into an unhealthy environment, with many acts of abuse, theft, and heavy alcoholism. This harsh environment shaped Carmelo's character as someone who is strong in facing anything. Carmelo had been accustomed to the harshness of his surroundings since childhood. The roar of lowrider exhausts, drunken brawls, and police sirens were all familiar to him. Despite this, Carmelo's parents had warned him not to engage in any criminal activity and not to seek a living or fulfill his needs through crime. Carmelo followed his father's advice before a major incident befell his family. When Carmelo's father returned home from work, he found a drunken man causing trouble in front of his house. His father immediately took decisive action against the drunk by beating him. The drunk man suffered serious injuries and had to be rushed to the hospital for special treatment. After the incident, Carmelo's father was arrested by the police and imprisoned to be held accountable for his actions. Since that incident, Carmelo has become the breadwinner of the family. Carmelo has given up on all his dreams because he has to provide for himself and his mother. With few job opportunities around him, he is now forced to touch things his father had previously forbidden. Carmelo has been involved in criminal activities such as shoplifting, selling meth, and extortion. Until one day, Carmelo met someone who was part of a criminal group, Carmelo was offered to help deliver meth and cocaine packages and join the group after the mission was successful. Carmelo did not hesitate to refuse, because the money he got from the delivery was enough, even enough to cover his daily needs.
