From an early age he grew up among the noise of street markets the stories of old sailors, and the salty scent of the Caribbean Sea. His father was a street painter while his mother was a former investigative journalist who now runs a small coffee shop. Barnejo inherited his mother’s sharp instincts and his father’s wild creativity two things that shaped him into a person who is intelligent, tactical and unpredictable. At the age of 17 Barnejo joined a student exchange program to Spain. There he discovered his love for ancient history, secret codes and the dark architecture left behind by the Iberian kingdoms. He began studying cryptology and classical linguistics, which eventually led to him being secretly recruited by a shadow organization called La Sombra an independent group that uncovers corruption and global conspiracies behind the scenes. Barnejo became known as a quiet yet deadly figure in his operations. He was skilled at infiltrating criminal networks breaking high-level security systems and delivering justice without leaving a trace. With his signature worn leather jacket, old wristwatch, and sharp gaze, Barnejo became an urban legend in many cities from Medellin to Madrid from Casablanca to Tokyo. The name Barnejo began to echo among bounty hunters and intelligence agencies around the world yet behind his cold and tough reputation, Barnejo carried a deep wound from the past. The death of his younger brother during a conflict between drug cartels and authorities made him refuse to submit to any system. He does not trust the state yet he also does not support chaos. He lives according to his own moral code only he truly understands but strong enough to bring down powerful authorities with a single precise move. Raul Barnejo is the shadow behind the curtain a legend that may be real or perhaps only a story but for those who have witnessed his presence directly, one thing is certain when the name Raul Barnejo is mentioned the keepers of secrets begin to fear because he is the one who straightens the path in a world full of deception. However Barnejo could not remain hidden in the shadows forever. One night in Lisbon while infiltrating the secret headquarters of a biological weapons network, he discovered documents revealing that his past had been manipulated. His brother’s death was not an accident in a cartel war it had been a deliberate sacrifice by La Sombra in the name of global stability. Betrayed by the organization he had served for so long, Barnejo burned his old identity and disappeared without a trace. The world believed Raul Barnejo had died in a massive explosion that shook the heart of a European conspiracy. Three years later rumors began to spread in the black markets of Marrakesh about a masked man who brought down a human trafficking network with nothing more than a single encrypted message. They called him El Fantasma de la Justicia the Ghost of Justice. There was no proof only shadows and a single symbol left behind at every location a silver hummingbird that represents freedom. For some people, Raul Barnejo is dead but for those who hide the truth behind their sins, he is still alive and he is hunting.
