Baak Chung Jai (白松仔) or White Pine Boys is a Chinese-American street gang based in the eastern part of Los Santos, dominated by youth of Chinese descent, also known as American-Born Chinese (ABC). In the early 1960s, a wave of Hong Kong residents fled to the United States, mostly settling in San Fierro, which became the birthplace of Chinatown, and later spreading to Los Santos. In San Fierro Chinatown itself, around the 1970s, the first tong society was established, called the Sui Fang Tong. White Pine Boys later became part of this group in the early 1990s when Sui Fang Tong began expanding their illegal business in Los Santos.

CATHAY MASSACRE TRAGEDY
0j483IR.jpegIn the early 2000s, the San Andreas state government opened an exclusive nightlife area in Los Santos. Another tong society, founded by a former member of the Sui Fang Tong, and later a business rival, also expanded and built a hotel and nightclub directly opposite Sui Fang Tong's building. Sui Fang Tong owned the Cathay Mulholland and Dulaly, while Hak Saa Tong owned the Light Car Grand. At the time, Brian "Fat Boy" Fang and a group of White Pine Boys were awaiting the arrival of the Sui Fang Tong leader. This opportunity was exploited by the Hak Saa Tong, who had long sought complete control of Los Santos and ousted Sui Fang Tong.

A long-standing grudge, an unstoppable desire, a desire to emerge from the shadows and dominate their rivals drove the Hak Saa Tong to act swiftly. Two black SUVs, each packed with four armed men, stood ready, awaiting a turning point for their group.. At 8 p.m., a white sedan stopped in front of Cathay, quickly followed by the Hak Saa Tong, and a gun battle ensued. White Pine Boys along with several members of the Sui Fang Tong, reacted quickly, firing back at the Hak Saa Tong. Terrifying scenes of massacre and dead bodies littered the Cathay Mulholland & Dulaly and Light Car Grand for three days after the shooting. The outcome was horrific, the Hak Saa Tong and their leaders were murdered, and their hotel and nightclub businesses were burned down by the White Pine Boys. Brian Fang was later arrested by the Los Santos Police Department along with several other members involved in this gang war, charged with aggravated murder, and sentenced to life in prison.

I6GvngU.jpegPRESENT DAYS
White Pine Boys remain active in Los Santos to this day, maintaining strong ties with the Sui Fang Tong, with Henry Chen as Tong Master (堂主). Following the Chatay tragedy, increased law enforcement scrutiny and legal pressure focused on the White Pine Boys, resulting in a decline in member activity. White Pine Boys rebuilt their crew, establishing their presence, operating more controlled than before, adapting to the pressures. They remain involved in Sui Fang Tong's business activities, including gambling, prostitution, and drug distribution. Olly "Porky Boy" Wu, Jimmy "Sailor" Feng, and Mason "Hot Dog" Cheung, the most respected members, are central figures controlling the direction and activities of this crew. They also engage in acts of vandalism, such as tagging and graffiti, as symbols of territorial claims and strengthening their affiliation. However, in the modern era, as a Chinese-American gang affiliated with a tong society, they still uphold the tong society's code of ethics and the honor of the dragon tattoo.
