Growing up in a border city shaped the way he sees the world. Juárez was not glamorous, and it was not forgiving. His father worked as a transport driver moving goods between cities near la frontera, sometimes gone for days at a time. His mother kept the house steady and always reminded him that a man only has his name and his word. From a young age, Ponciano learned to listen more than he spoke. He paid attention to how adults handled pressure and how quickly situations could change. Life around him moved fast, but he understood early that staying calm was an advantage. As he got older, he began helping with small delivery jobs connected to his father’s work. He learned routes, timing, and how to avoid unnecessary attention. He understood that in places like Juárez, trust is everything. You do the job right, you keep quiet, and you do not ask questions that are not your business. When money at home became tight and opportunities felt limited, he decided to leave for Santa Fe. He was not running from trouble. He was looking for growth and better income. People began to notice that he handled tasks without panic and without excuses. Over time, others started calling him by his last name more often than his first. Salmeron carried a firm sound, and it became associated with consistency. Eventually, the nickname came naturally. El Salmeron. Not because he forced it, but because people began to say it. He understands that respect is earned slowly. He is not chasing attention or reckless power. He is building his position carefully, watching who he can trust and proving his loyalty through actions. With patience, discipline, and lealtad, Ponciano Alejandro Salmeron plans to secure his place step by step, knowing that in this kind of world, the quiet man who handles business properly is the one who survives.
