He grew up in a poor area near the border where money was always a problem. Hector never could fully focus on school. Since he was young, Hector was used to work a small jobs just to help his family to survive. His older brother Arturo Galindo took a different path, he was involved in Tijuana’s most dangerous gangs. Arturo involved in smuggling, protection jobs, and street crime were his part of daily life. Hector didn’t stay clean either, he ran errands, delivered packages, and sometimes acted as a lookout. It wasn’t something he was proud of, but it paid. Violence kept getting worse, one by one Hector's friends disappeared, and his money getting short. He finally decide to ask for help from his older brother to smuggle him into Los Santos for getting a better life. Long story short Arturo arranged for Hector to cross border illegally, the route was controlled by people Arturo trusted. After days of hiding and moving at night, they finally made it to Los Santos. Los Santos didn’t welcome him, without papers Hector had no choice but to worked as a day laborer, taking whatever job was offered like construction, cleaning, unloading trucks and anything that paid cash. Days later Arturo was called back to Tijuana by his gang leader for a job he had to do, and then he left Hector on his own. Before Arturo could even arrive, he was shot by his rival gang members. Hector was stunned when he heard the news. He rushed from his job to the place where his brother had been shotted. By the time Hector reached the location, police and ambulances had already sealed off the scene. There was nothing he could do but watch from a distance. After that incident, Hector decided to dedicate his life to finding those responsible for his brother’s death. He promised himself that one day, he would avenge his brother's soul. Now, Hector lives quietly in Los Santos. He keeps his head down, works, and waits, knowing that the people responsible are still out there.
