     On February 20, 2005, a boy named Damian Erneto was born in Reynosa, a city with the highest rates of poverty and violence in Mexico. Damian was born to his father, Ricco, and his mother, Lena. When Damian was two years old, Ricco attempted to immigrate illegally to the United States with his wife. The journey ended in tragedy Lena was killed after crossing the border when she was shot by U.S. Border Patrol. Only his father survived and returned to their home in Mexico.


   By the age of 13, Damian had not received a proper education from his father or grandmother. Because they came from a poor family and his father was unable to work due to chronic illness, Damian was forced to support his family's economy by working as a drug courier in his neighborhood. In the beginning, his heart was haunted by guilt from seeing the people addicted to the drugs he delivered. However, slowly but surely, he began to be dragged into a world of crime, witnessing the murder, rape, and torture prevalent in his enexperience. hen Damian was 18, his father became terminally ill and passed away at home. Before he died, he told Damian the truth about his mother's death and left him a message to go to America to find a better life. Damian fell into a deep depression upon learning the truth. He often took out his emotions by working as a hitman and consuming drugs. His life was in ruins, but he remembered he still had his grandmother. Although she never went to school, she became a teacher for Damian through her vast life experience.


   Gradually, Damian managed to crawl out of that life of crime. By the time he was 20, he had the maturity to head to America, inspired by his father's determination. He and eight of his friends tried to enter the U.S. by hopping a freight train. However, due to a massive security operation at the border, only three people including Damian survived. After making his way to Los Santos, he became separated from his remaining friends. He is now starting his new life from scratch in Los Santos with only a small amount of money in his pocket.
