On December 9, 2025, Ricky Hart officially turned in his badge to San Andreas Police Department. The decision was not easy after all these years of service, but Hart felt that the time had come to make the call. It was a bright, calm morning; in his private vehicle - he drove through the city. After some driving, he stopped at the nearest restaurant, intending to buy some quick food and head home.

Upon getting there, he ordered a meal, planning to eat inside his car because he wanted to enjoy the solitude. Halfway through his meal, his phone rang. The number was not known, but the voice was recognizable. It was Flame, or rather, Flamehead. Immediately, he recognized him. Flame was one of the best informants he had had to deal with back while at work in the Police Department. The last case with which he had worked was already closed, and it was Flame who had given the information that really had helped.

The call was all too simple, it was about his pay. Hart explained calmly that he was no longer with the department and that no payment would be processed through the police for informant work done in the past. However, Flame cared little for that explanation. To his way of thinking, information had to be paid for whatever state Hart was in. After some back-and-forth argument, this time, he told Hart to come see him personally. Hart had known Flame for quite a while now, and in his chaotic world, he never thought that Flame would try to harm him. On the contrary, he felt no suspicion whatsoever.

When he finished his food, Hart drove to the place where Flame had directed him. By that time, Flame was already agitated, shouting, demanding cash, and refusing to accept Hart's explanations. Again, Hart tried to reason with him, but Flame insisted on money. Without warning, as the conversation escalated, Flame pulled a handgun and shot Hart in the head just as he turned toward his car. Hart collapsed due to severe injuries and was later pronounced to be dead, and Flame immediately fled the scene.
