From a young age, he hated the strict rules of his upbringing and preferred doing his own thing. In high school, instead of joining traditional clubs like calligraphy or tea ceremony, he skipped class and hung out with delinquents. He often got into fights and was labeled a troublemaker by his teachers. But with his delinquent friends, he finally felt like he belonged. Because of the nature of his friends, Keisuke discovered the world of fast cars and late-night street races. He’d sneak out to watch racers tear through the twisty mountain roads of Akagi, amazed by their skill and speed. He looked up to them, as they represented the freedom he craved in his tightly controlled life. He dreamed of becoming one of them, someone respected in the underground racing world. After finishing high school, and later, college, Keisuke used money from his family to buy his first car. He got himself a Mazda RX-7 FD. As soon as he got his driver’s license, he started racing on Akagi mountain pass. He sharpened his skills and built his car little by little. He got into a racing team from Akagi and soon became a well known street racer after winning a lot of races on the mountains in Gunma prefecture. After a few years pass, Keisuke saw that street racing in Japan was dying. Police has noticed the street racing activity, and has been patrolling the mountain pass more often. Laws were getting stricter, and it became a problem just to try to start a battle on the mountain pass. Hungry for excitement and real competition, he sold most of what he owned and bought a one-way ticket to Los Santos. He’d heard the street racing scene there was still alive and wild, full of passionate drivers and late-night battles. With his RX-7 on a cargo ship and his old life behind him, Keisuke was ready for a fresh start.
