His youth was one less of custom than of survival. He learned early that money was the key to everything, from respect to possibility. His mother decided to move them to a different neighborhood at age ten in hopes of a better life. For Lamar, the move didn’t just mean a change of scenery. It meant a marketplace, wide open for anyone bold enough to take. Teenage years in America were rough. At school, Lamar was often treated like an outsider, sometimes looked down on. From those experiences, he learned two lessons that never left him: people only respect you if you have money, and the world doesn’t give you anything for free. By high school, Lamar was already running with kids from the street, picking up tricks on how to make fast cash. His turning point came at sixteen when he pulled off a sneaker hustle, buying rare shoes on release day and flipping them for triple the price. In one weekend, Lamar made more money than his mother earned in a month. That moment stuck with him. Respect came fast, pockets got heavier, and people who ignored him before suddenly wanted his attention. Now in his mid-20s, Lamar lives in Los Santos, where he’s known for his hustler mentality. Officially, he works odd jobs and freelance gigs, but his real income comes from the street. He is quick with numbers and quicker at deals, whether selling merchandise for an instant profit, running side businesses, or dealing in drugs through trusted contacts. Lamar is not addicted to products. He is addicted to the stack of bills that it produces. He is firm, almost emotionless, keeping emotion out of business and with regard for only the bottom line. To Lamar, cash is power, security, and freedom. He doesn't invest anything if there's no payback. Among friends, he is the giver. Buying drinks, covering tabs, not because he's selfless, but because loyalty is an investment. Around family, he keeps up appearances, sending money back home so they believe he’s just another young man chasing the American dream.
