Coming from an African-American family with not much money, his childhood was surrounded by struggle. The Cobb family lived in a small old house with paint fading off the wall, something that reflect their daily survival. His father worked different small jobs, from carrying goods at the market to cleaning yards just to put food on the table. His mother tried her best to make simple meals feel warm, even when the kitchen had very little. Since young, Teonce already got used to hear police sirens at night and argument outside the street. That sound and the view of chaos in the neighborhood shaped him early, making him realize that nothing in life comes easy. Teonce also had a twin brother named Tamier Cobb. Even if they were born together, their personality was like day and night. Teonce was known as stubborn, loud, and not scared to say what he think, while Tamier was calmer and tried to avoid conflict. These difference sometimes caused little argument between them, but in the end it made their bond stronger. Most of the time, Teonce always stood in front when problems come to the neighborhood, making sure his brother stayed out of trouble. For Teonce, family always came first, and he believed his purpose was to keep them safe no matter how unfair the world could be. As he grow older, Teonce’s stubbornness turned into determination. When he wanted something, he kept chasing until he got it, no matter how long it take. People around him sometimes see him as too hard-headed, but for Teonce, success only come for those who never stop trying. He used to wake up early with the sound of his father’s old radio, playing random music while the smell of fried food from the neighbor mixed with smoke from the street. These small memories stayed with him and build his tough character. The hard life in East Los Santos didn’t break him; it made him sharper, stronger, and more ready to stand tall. For Teonce Cobb, as long as he keep moving forward, no situation could really bring him down.
