Titus Holcomb began his day the way he usually did, standing on the balcony of his apartment with a cigarette in hand. The city felt calm from above, the smoke trailing upward as he let the silence settle his nerves. After a final drag, he crushed the cigarette in the ashtray and stepped back inside. His duffel bag was already packed, and he made sure to fold in his lab coat before zipping it shut. Titus carried it down to the car, stowing it carefully in the trunk before sliding into the driver’s seat. The road ahead was quiet, and his thoughts circled around the work waiting for him. He had no reason to believe anything about tonight would be different.

The lab sat hidden, dark and still, exactly as he had left it. Titus hauled the duffel inside and unpacked his gear, slipping into the lab coat and fastening the buttons tight. The air smelled sharp with chemicals, but it was a scent he had grown used to. He set the burner, poured the mixture, and stepped away for a moment to clear the scraps from the last batch. He did not notice the small adjustments someone else had made earlier, a rival who had slipped in and tampered with his setup. To Titus, everything looked routine, nothing out of place, until the sound of hissing grew louder than it ever should have.

The explosion came fast, shattering glass and flame ripping across the room. Titus was thrown back, his mask snapping off as fire and chemicals consumed the air. He struggled against the smoke, coughing as it filled his lungs, his body weakening with every gasp. The rival’s plan had worked without him ever being present. While Titus writhed on the floor, the flames swallowing the room, his competitor was already preparing to claim more work, more money, and the trust that Titus would never live to hold again.

8. Pastikan karakter anda sudah di dalam penjara OOC.
