He woke up from his bed and hurried to the bathroom. He always woke up in the middle of the night because his mischievous child would often sneak out of the house at night to hang out with friends in the Jefferson neighborhood. After taking a shower, Ishaq put on his clothes and briefly played with his smartphone to check social media. On Instagram, Ishaq saw that his friends had gotten jobs, and he began to think slowly about how his friends had left and were now living good lives. Ishaq hurried out of his house and visited his usual hangout spot. Ishaq went to his usual hangout spot and found it empty, with none of his friends there. His hunch was right—his friends were slowly moving on to real lives. Ishaq felt mixed emotions and wanted to follow his friends’ lead. He took his phone and sat on the sofa at home, searching for jobs on social media and following the procedures. Ishaq applied to work as an employee at a minimarket, hoping he could achieve a better life than the one he had now. He tried to gather the requirements to apply at the minimarket, and tomorrow was the day the results would be announced. Waking up early, unlike usual, Ishaq began to change upon hearing the news. He couldn’t sleep, waiting for the job announcement. He fell asleep and woke up in the morning, opened his phone, and saw the announcement that he had been accepted for the job for the first time. He was very happy and asked when he could start working. He was eager for it and rushed to the minimarket where he would work. He was assigned to be a cashier, which was a challenging job for him since it was his first time working, but on the other hand, he was happy and informed his parents that he was now working and could earn his own money. In his second week of work, he encountered an arrogant and sensitive customer. Ishaq served him patiently and teased him a little. The arrogant customer felt offended and harbored ill intentions toward Ishaq. He waited for Ishaq until late at night beside the minimarket. Ishaq, who was tired, wanted to hurry home and rest. On his way, he was stopped by the man and had a verbal altercation with him. Soon, the man pulled out a gun and shot him directly in the head, and Ishaq died at the scene. CK Screenshots: Bukti
