On a quiet night, Marvin Martinovich stood impatiently by the roadside, flicking his lighter as he waited for a taxi that never came. The silence dragged on, stretching his nerves thin. Bored and frustrated, he decided to abandon the wait and take his personal vehicle instead. In the trunk, sealed tightly in plastic, was his latest batch of illegal crack cocaine, pure, potent, and dangerous. His destination was Mechanic Village in the rural heart of Blueberry, a place known for its quiet corners and quick cash. He drove through the dimly lit County Connector, the road winding through desolate fields and patches of thick woodland, his thoughts consumed by the deal ahead. Upon arrival, Marvin had his vehicle repaired by a local mechanic before casually scouting the area for a buyer.

It wasn’t long before Santiago Galvez appeared, lingering near the repair shop like a shadow with intent. Marvin, always quick to spot an opportunity, struck up a conversation and subtly mentioned his product. Santiago showed interest, and Marvin, in his usual confidence, invited him into the car to “see the real deal.” As they reached a more secluded spot nearby, Marvin unzipped the black duffel bag, revealing the neatly packed crack. “You got the cash?” he asked. But instead of reaching for money, Santiago reached for a gun. In a heartbeat, the deal turned deadly. Santiago ripped the bag from Marvin’s hands and, without hesitation or remorse, opened fire, brutally and repeatedly. Marvin collapsed inside his own vehicle, his last breath stolen in betrayal. Santiago walked away with the drugs, leaving the once-cunning dealer lifeless in the driver’s seat, the engine still humming low beneath him. In the criminal world Marvin walked in, trust was a currency even blood couldn't buy.
